Hi i just wanna ask anyone out there have purchase these type of docking station for their iPhones.

Logitech
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers...s/4782&cl=my,en

and there are a lot more out there that i have seen like BOSS, Altech Lansing and many more.

Just wish to ask whether these things can actually use the alarm that have been set inside our iPhones or not? or are they independent from one another.

Can we connect these things to the PC with itunes so that when we slip in the iPhone it will start to sync.

But I watched in the YouTube video that the dock is quite sturdy and heavy. And if you push it, it won't just tip over.
But I can't seem to find it here in KL. I've only seen the universal dock from Griffin. Any ideas where to get the 3G only dock (besides eBay?)

I went to both Mid Valley and Gardens Machine - nope no 3G dock there. But for RM119, might as well get the Griffin Air Curve as suggested by harmeet15 (thanks bro!) I pick one up today.
The Air Curve cost me RM123. The Apple's 3G dock doesnt come with a cable and neither does the Air Curve but the Air Curve has two advantage - it acts as a powerless speaker and it serves as a dock as well. And it is more sturdy. You cant knock down the Air Curve like the Apple 3G dock. I wish it comes with a cable but it does not.

An extra Apple Dock Connector USB cable cost RM79 !!!! Just a cable. I look around and found this -

Ignore the flat pins for US. This USB power adaptor comes with a Malaysian 3 pin plug adaptor as well as a 2 pin. AND the most important thing is a dock cable is included - Price RM109
So instead of RM79 for a cable, might as well pay RM30 more for a power adaptor with cable.

A similar product is this - Apple World Travel Adaptor Kit - same as above but comes with even more adaptors for other countries. But no stock at Machines - anyone seen this before?

Another similar product I saw was the Belkin Dual USB charger. It comes with 2 cables - one dock connector and one mini-USB cable. You can charge two device at once. Price around rm120

Btw I also found some Ayam Brand connector cable - RM30

No offend to any BOSE owners / fans, I find BOSE sound quality is at average only, with the price tag it carries, it is overpriced, at least to me. Again, this is my personal opinion and I have no intension to challenge any BOSE owners / fans.

I own a B&W CDM1 and I love it.

The definition of "good" different from person to person, you have to listen to the device yourself, experience it and you would know whether if it is to your liking.

Though wana get Apple Universal Dock , but AirCurve seems more reasonable and promising.

After looking everywhere,I saw some post saying that iPhone with a case can be put onto the AirCurve but only without the dock adaptor. This is what I wanted as I do not need to take off my case.

The only problem is what type of USB connector I should use, can I use the cable that came with my iPhone 3Gs or must I get another cable?

Will there be any problem when I dock and undock the iPhone with the cable equiped onto AirCurve since the cable will need to be snapped into the iPhone hole. Will the cable fall off or cause troubles?
