Though wana get Apple Universal Dock , but AirCurve seems more reasonable and promising.

After looking everywhere,I saw some post saying that iPhone with a case can be put onto the AirCurve but only without the dock adaptor. This is what I wanted as I do not need to take off my case.

The only problem is what type of USB connector I should use, can I use the cable that came with my iPhone 3Gs or must I get another cable?
*
u can use da cable which came with the phone...no prob...
thr r instructions on how 2 insert da cable into da curve...easy n simple wan..smile.gif
as for da case, im able 2 use with flick, air jacket, wave...
nt much of a prob..

hey you dont exactly need to 'snap' it into the apple universal dock. and urm if you guys are concerned abt iphones with casing, casing like capsule rebel actually comes with the dock adapter that lets the universal dock hold onto the phone with the cover perfectly.
urm im using the apple universal dock and im pretty contented with it. the classic white apple finish is what i was looking for. thats why i didnt buy the other dock mentioned above. biggrin.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

harmeet, thanks alot for sharing the pictures smile.gif .

Based on your picture , I noticed that since theres no adapter, the phone seems to be depending on the cable to stay at the right place or stable on the AirCurve. Is it true that the phone must be stuck with the cable when in case?

The snapping on and snapping off still concerns me the most, though... unsure.gif

Bro, in my opinion, when it comes to chargers and especially car chargers, don't go so cheap. Just spend a little bit more money and invest in a better quality charger from a well known brand like Griffin or something. It's not like buying a cheap casing, coz all u might probably get are scratches but the phone is still functioning. If the cheap charger is not properly rated and does not have any protection against surges or power spikes while charging in the car, you'll probably end up with a dead phone.

So to put it very simply, if u can afford to get an iPhone, u can most definitely afford to get a good proper charger.

I bought mine for rm123 if I can remember right at machines.
I'm happy with mine. Just make sure the rubber sleeve sits at the very edge of the curve so that your iPhone can touch the curve.

RM119. and for those 3rd party chargers/cables, there have been cases reported where the charging/dock port on the phone was damaged due to 'em. best to avoid them and spend a lil bit more for original ones. smile.gif
