steel but not chrome...steel color like silver for the ori rim lah...can be touchup...if chrome u need to skim...

i just sent to my proton dealer for below problems

- ngek2 sound near fender and door.
- kluk2 sound near tyre/absorber
- door rubber come off on behind/left side of door
- engine diesel sounds

i leave the car with em. lets see whats they can fix...

add won't but changing the whole alarm system will void the alarm part only

Aiyo, if like that ma very expensive lo.aih..money hard to earn. Anybody know which SC around Subang can bring own engine oil ar? I am planning to use 10w as I am using 15w now. The sc I always went to does not allow to use own oil. So I have to service my car with proton until the warranty ends?

engine diesel sound - IAFM problem or you're near service already?
usually if u use their petronas oil...when near service or 5k....that sound will come out...but once change oil...it will be smooth again

i just service 2 months ago...i suspect the engine oil too but mostly...i suspect my iafm la...like everybody else here

bout fender sounds...tried that before....not working...seems not that part that creates ngek2 sound

try the dashboard...give some pressure at the edge....
and the kluk2 sound from absorber is normal as said by the SC........many of us have this sound as well but on smooth road no sound

the kluk2 sound i read somewhere about loose screw somewhere that area...tighten the screw may solve it...but i gave my car to my dealer...i written all the details about the problems..so i didnt have to wait at sc...so convenient but i dunno what they do to my car...

update:

i just recieved a call from my sa, they gonna sent my car to proton centre. they confirm IAFM problem. need about 2 days to complete.

yep...i got sound on my dashboard long ago..disappeared already. maybe after i gave it few slaps..its gone...haha

guys.. i received my m-line d... wat are the things i've to look for? i mean defects!..

Just try to look for and scratch or paint defect thorough, as most of the car primary check will done by the SA for you.

Remember once you drive away from the showroom, you can't complain anything. Any warranty defect will send to SC. Defect which Warranty not cover then you on your own.

my rear brake is shrieking and its getting worse.
