QUOTE(jacktai @ May 14 2009, 12:50 PM) Last time I book my BLM with RM500 cash discount plus full tank petrol. Mine allso same M-line manual. I'm sure they still have the RM500 cash discount. But they locate in KL center. I got rm 2000 rebate from my sa when he delivered another car another colour as he promised to my mum earlier. I got my windows tint free RM300 different can pump 1-2 month petrol already. Dunno whether can cancel the booking from the Kajang SA, and switch to the KL show room with RM500 discount ha ha (Last time I ask my SA, the show room will refund the booking fee if we insist to cancel the booking) |

QUOTE(jacktai @ May 15 2009, 08:52 AM) Yours must be the last year batch(w/o tinted and immobilizer), as the new batch with built in immobilizer and tinted release, they give discount for the old batch up to RM1500-2000. But too bad that time I bought only left Auto. But now a day, you won't able to get last year batch anymore. I bought the car when it first release. I waited for 6 months. I booked the car at the night it launched. My SA dragged me very long. 2 days before he delivered my car to my doorstep, he told my mum about the car's detail including the plate number and chasis number plus to confirm with the color. I initially booked a silver m line auto but when I saw my car it was in grey color and the numbers are different. I was shocked. It was another car. He said something wrong with jpj. I suspect something to do with proton management, anyway proton issued a cheque of rm2000 and now my windows are spoilt and my door lights as well. |

QUOTE(torresism @ May 17 2009, 07:50 PM) for 20k major service, they will change: u done ur service at the SC? Why don't you change outside. buy your own stuff. cheaper and better plus maybe cheaper labor fee1. radiator coolant X3 bottles 2. engine oil 3. oil filter 4. air filter (optional) 5. plug (optional) 6. gear oil. 7. etc 8. *labour) estimated cost for 20k if u change all, rm400++ so i think except engine oil u can bring by urslef, the others have to be purchased over there. |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ May 18 2009, 12:44 AM) even u use all genuine proton part Aiyo, if like that ma very expensive lo.aih..money hard to earn. Anybody know which SC around Subang can bring own engine oil ar? I am planning to use 10w as I am using 15w now. The sc I always went to does not allow to use own oil. So I have to service my car with proton until the warranty ends?those service are not recorded in your booklet and no chop to certify it as well so means...they know and warranty void |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ May 19 2009, 08:39 AM) Perodua is using bottle of engine where we can normally purchased outside. Proton used a tong of oil. U know what I mean? They are charging a bottle of engine oil's price but they are giving you the amount of oil your car need. Most of the SC doesn't allow you to bring your own oil some more. That is why I do not like to do my service with Proton.Added on May 19, 2009, 12:47 pm QUOTE(phat @ May 19 2009, 12:34 PM) From Subang to Malacca the fuel is about RM23 when 1L = RM2.70. The last time I calculated.Theoretically, 1L = RM 1.80. RM15.3 This post has been edited by ivanau88: May 19 2009, 12:47 PM |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ May 19 2009, 12:53 PM) your SC use a tong of oil? If like that, why don't you ask from them? Mine is tong of oil. I went to 2 different SC at Subang. They were using tong, I thought it was standard. Is a waste anyway. If manage to accumulate 5 bottle, the left out oil will be enough to fill up your engine when you service next time. At least you can refill somemy SC all use bottle of that can purchase outside but they didn't give it back also |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ May 20 2009, 07:14 PM) drive more thn u will know how the car work....i mean the delay i agree with u. Esso gave me very good mileage but Esso station are very far from my place so i go for Shell. Normal as you said. Pettronas no way. Caltex was ok but the one near my place wan i suspect they mix stuff into petrol. pumped twice d. rm20 can drive me 40-50 km when 1L = RM2.00 . Believe it or not?u have to know when to press to avoid the delay and the RPM go sky high suddenly sometime i press wrong also the RPM will go high but speed never go up...thats the cause of bad FC just keep above 80 whenever possible...that's the point where the IAFM open here in sabah...manu unreasonable drive...driving 60 on the right side...flash and horn also won't go aside...have to follow the awhile Added on May 20, 2009, 7:19 pm if 100% city driving..the FC will be abit bad lah but if no traffic jam...the FC should be really good unless u love to rev high...vroom vroom my saga i tried petronas, shell and esso...the only 3 petrol brand in sabah petronas fuel drain like water shell is normal like usual....using it all the time esso in another hand very very powerful like storm said....i haven't get a change to really test esso for FC yet cuz every esso kinda far from me...only shell near |

QUOTE(xshiro @ May 29 2009, 02:20 PM) Is true actually, in Malaysia, 1.6 is meant for taxis and it is in NGV. The power is almost the same with our 1.3. There is another news in paultan.org saying that Proton is developing a 1.6 Saga for the Australia market. According to the Australia branch, the demand of 1.6 is higher. However I do not believe Proton will launch the 1.6 version here as it going to spoil the sales of Persona and Gen2. but I think Proton will come out with Hline in the future. Extra accessories or features maybe? front and back auto windows? |
