They are doing exectly what Celcom is doing with the UOX. You can either buy a new sim pack or port in from other network. Those that currently in the same network may not change to the youth plan.

hello.. got smth to ask.. but then it's a bit out of topic lar..

i got a HYC number, under my name.

then, if i wan to sell to another person and dun wish to go to maxis center to change ownership, (means the buyer still use the number under my name)

can i do a not-official agreement (computer typed and print on a4 paper)? Saying if the number is misused, the blame will not go to me, but to the buyer (buyer's name and ic will be included in agreement)..

is it ok to do so?

so, IF it really happened that the number is used to commit crime and police finds the owner, which is me, will this contact be effective?

Logically of course not. Then everyone will sell it and make money out of it. Its call abusing it.

Its under your name anything happen you are fully responsible of all action. They will said if its stolen why didnt u report it?

First only authorized reseller are allowed to sell the numbers.
Second if you can do a so called not-official then everyone will give this excuse.

Create a crime then create a non-official to blame others.

just change the number's registration to yours la...it takes only 1 day (buct actually it's almost immediate)...

port to digi prepaid takes 1 day...

port back to maxis should be 1 day....

altogether = 3 days...

guys, when i checked the HYC website just now, i looked at the FAQ and also TNC, it never stated have to present student id card furthermore customer 25 years and below can join the bandwagon.

QUOTE
#  The Hotlink Youth Club is brought to you by Maxis Mobile Services Sdn Bhd (73315-V) (“MMSSB”). It is applicable to Hotlink subscribers (hereinafter referred to as ‘Subscribers’) who are:
•  25 years old and below with a valid Mykad (for Malaysian residents) or passport (for non-Malaysian residents)

You can subscribe to Hotlink Youth Club at any Maxis Centres, authorized Hotlink dealer outlets or roadshows in your campus.

# How can I subscribe to Hotlink Youth Club? How much will I be charged?
First, you need to visit ANY Maxis Centres, authorized Hotlink dealer outlets or roadshows at your campus. Then, for:

Existing Hotlink customers
1) Purchase Hotlink Youth Club pack at only RM8.80.

Customers from other telcos
1) Keep your number and port in to Hotlink Basic plan (standard port in process applies).
2) Upon successful port in, you will be moved to Hotlink Youth Club for FREE within 7 working days.

New customer
1) Purchase Hotlink Youth Club pack at only RM8.80.

Btw you guys mentioned before that the opt in method had ended 01.05.09. however the faq ad Tnc stated otherwise, i wonder whether hotlink didn't update their info or what. Can anybody clarify this.

the problem with them, their customer service representative sometime dont even know whats happening in their own company/product website... always hiccups (ask their supervisor) to give answer to the customer...

why la maxis dont train their customer service representative properly... dont have enough budget for training haa ??
