I went to maxis centre to ask about my HYC status, they say the person(my mom) who registered my line is different from the IC and student ID i gave, so they help me to change the owner of my line to my name. They told me I have to wait another 3 days to see whether successful or not. Hopefully it will be okay.

szaku, are u saying they help u changing the ownership of ur mum's line to urs?
if that is the case, can it be done by ur own, i mean without involving the previous ownership, just between u and maxis?

Yes, they change the ownership from my mom to me. In my case, they don't need my mom to be around. I am not that sure. The guy just did it for me and after that he told me to wait for another few more days.

Yes you are correct. I somehow passby the maxis center in asia cafe subang, so I tried to ask why my line hasn't been activated yet, and he helped me to check the status of it, found out that it has been rejected because of that problem i mentioned. Hope it can be done soon!

some promoter charges for the registartion ler..i paid RM15 that time to register(using my own number)..but after that i saw website saying that the registration is free ler..somehow i felt being cheated..

Usually promoters do not know about the application status. You need to contact maxis' staffs to know that.

You need to pay if you are not an existing hotlink user to get a new simpack. RM8.80. Either than that I can't of anything that need us to pay.
Anywhere it is the same, they do not require us to pay for the upgrading.

No you can't, only participating dealers. Check them out on HYC's main website under participating dealers.

Another question, last time when I am using Postpaid Maxis, there is a subscription for a 5Mb internet usage for like RM5. Is there similar package for Hotlink prepaid?

Nope, they don't hv such thing. I guess hotlink never thought of developing prepaid's data or internet usage.
For celcom prepaid, you can choose either RM6 per day or RM20 per week unlimited data.
