Someone's selling the LEGENDARY Lanparty UT 790FX M2R (the only one with Pulse digital power reg) in Garage Sales for that offer. BUT ITS MINE (MY PREECIOUS etc. I said before, no snatching tongue.gif )

I'm a sucker for digital voltage regulators. 2900XT had it, now damn poison to get this.

I don't like any other "D"s made after the M2R tho. The DKs are not like the past Lanpartys, now have a bit of cincai here and there...

Hopefully they actually make a LP UT AM3 board again for those who are rich enough. biggrin.gif

What's the difference between the DFI Lanparty DK 790FXB-M2RSH and the Lanparty UT 790FX M2R? hmm.gif

yup, DK or UT, LANPARTY boards are supposed to have firewire ports!!! if a board w/o ieee1394, it can't be considered as premium board and i don't consider RM600/SGD$2xx as normal/value board. if they remove that from infinity series i totally got no objection, but not LANPARTY for sure.... mad.gif vmad.gif doh.gif

not everybody can afford an UT board mate, great oc doesn't always mean we need to spend a handsome amount of $$$ on mobo, remember d great old nf2 ultra infinity? nod.gif

fxb = 790fx + sb750, 4 phase digital pwm (w/ VRMs)

ut 790fx = 790fx + sb600, full digital pwm (i can't see any VRM sweat.gif )

UT has 7 (6+1) phase digital power regulation, transpiper heatpipes, fancy audio module, dual LAN, Firewire, and additional Silicon Image 3132 RAID controller (since SB600 sucks arse).

FXB has SB750, ACC (not applicable for PhII anyway), 5 phase (4+1) Power regs, native 6 port SATA support (thanks to SB700+++)

It's like say, Asus ROG vs their normal ____ PRO/DELUXE boards.

@ah_khoo
Agreed. Even my current RM280 Gigabyte 780G has Firewire. sad.gif

I won't expect a new, robust DK until 890, and even so, they might reuse the design AGAIN (see the DK AM2 and DK AM3 board layouts, darn deja vu)
