'' I just received a call from HR for the final individual interview.
Actually now I am also waiting for the reply from Standard Chartered consumer banking, but frankly to say, I prefer capital dynamic because I really love to be a financial analysis rather than a banker.

Yes, i think pls really speak to ppl who have worked with tan tengboo before to decide whether u want to join his company.

there are so many other capable managers out there who manage a lot more money than him and achieved better performance. but these managers are less well-known because they don't go around marketing to everyone that they are WB of Msia. Think about it... People who praise their ownselves or call themselves the WB of Msia are at most just mediocre...

and also, he categorically called for an economic meltdown last year after June, but did not happen. it is frankly really very very embarrassing, no matter how he try to justify.... *oops i think he should cover his face*

Added on April 27, 2012, 5:47 pmnoone bonds people for 3 years nowadays... it isn't like tan teng boo paid for your university did he?

ur question is a no-brainer.

if you join u obviously did not do enough research. so why will tan teng boo hiring someone who does not know the basics of research? (he is either just intervening with the invisible hands at work in the economy for fun or doesn't have a clear thought process.) *giggles*

"Capital Dynamics offers an unusual 3-level remuneration package." What does this means? Meaning you get peanuts and then paid the shells later?

Was about to come here and ask if anybody works or worked there as a research assistant, and I get this.

Is it really that bad? Also, heard they do also hire foreigners there.

Hi guys, it's been a few years now since the negative reports about working there. Just wondering if anyone who is working there currently or knows someone who is can give some insight into how things are there now?

Thinking of applying to Cap Dyn since it's one of the few firms which has entry-level research analyst positions. Any idea what the pay is like for fresh graduate economics/political analysts? Is the saturday work day still being practiced?

Hi Robert,

I was not a fresh grad when I went to work with him. It was not my 1st or 2nd job. A lot of red flags when I was there. I was surprised to read that the staff turnover is still high. Check the Linked.

Please read the comments from ex-staff in this forum and some. What they wrote for the last few years was what I experienced 10 years ago. It's like history repeats itself.

Some people want the truth, some want it to be sugar-coated. Some are in denial.
You choose.

Hello,

I got offered a job at Capital Dynamics. The pay is 9000 riggits a month. However, they want to bond me for 3 years, with 6 months salary being required for me to break the bond. I performed a Google search to find out the work conditions of Capital Dynamics. Is there anyone here who has worked there recently (within the last two years, but preferably, the last year), or is still working there, who can tell me if this is worth it? I am from the Caribbean, and I don't want to bind myself to a company and find out that it was big mistake.

Thank you.
