I finally found out why "premium" TF toys by taktomy end up in such lack-of-color scheme. This must be due to their "poor" command in English.

Boardroom meeting between hasbro and taktomy:

Taktomy rep: I think we should find ways to utilise our mold to capture a bigger share of the market.
Hasbro rep: Nice idea. Let's put it in black and white and we review it later.

Yes take a good look at the box, clearly it's a Hasbro. They labeled this darker Sideways a Takara version after finding it different from the usual, but in fact it's still a Hasbro.

yup but below the box is diff with hasbro and the colour is totally is diff wont be wrong compare with hasbro

Also if its dark colour does not mean it is Takara right for sideways?

i think that is not the actual toy, coz if they come out "black convoy", they will definitely change the japanense word "convoy" to "black convoy"... it could b ps, or self make box~
