OMG. he's a beautiful beast! I'm SOLD..

I wonder who contributes devastator head. Since mixmaster drum obvious being turn into his arms, so can't "store" Devy head .

Transcanning only look nice in ALT mode. If you looking to display it in robot mode, think again...

Probably is only me, I feel the Movie figure is looking like alien and nothing close to the original transformer... I probably only get Bumblebee for ROTF line up.
*
LOL. Original Transformers WERE from outer space, hence Alien-ish.

If you mean original as in G1, their appearance were limited by how hardworking the animators draw them + the toys they were based upon the toyline from Japanese. So creativity were stumped then , not to mention they have to appeal to kids too.

Yeah, don't like don't buy. I just share my view here. Not sure how you think I am griping. I am sure this is an open forum.  smile.gif
*
Don't worry. "griping" or -ve opinions wont be outlawed here. This is not a superstar/idol forum where a slight -ve comments will be shot/lynched by immature die-hard fans .

The last time I checked, this is Transformers toys thread, not "Transformer toys Appreciation/Glorifying only" thread. I myself is pretty vocal about what I want and how certain TF toys put me off . Maybe I'm just a poor ******* who can't afford most of them. smile.gif

Just back from Tropicana Mall Carrefour

ROTF toys have landed........ but as reported earlier.. only Bee and Soundwave . Soundwave looks like a pair of scissors from a glance. I just have my hair cut recently, so I won't be needing him so soon. smile.gif

One of the stall outside Carrefour's checkout counter is selling KO TF Movie 1 Leader Class Prime at a price of $6x.xx !

I hope hasbro doesn't deliberately make jetfire's left knee joint weak/loose so the walking stick can be "utilised" and part of the "gimmick"! LOL

Heard Hasbro wanted to cater to those "MISB collectors", needless to say they look better displayed in a box like that. Beats the fun of transforming your toy for the first time from vehicle to robot though biggrin.gif
*
Well, different class of toys have different size of box. Looks like long haul doesn't fit into voyager class box if he's in his bricky dump truck mode. Even now he's crammed into that box in robot mode, he has to bend down and spread his arm out a bit .

Aren't you guys afraid since ravage's function is a spy. Watever we stored inside his flash drive mode will be "transmitted" over to "HQ" for further analysis. LOL.

I finally found out why "premium" TF toys by taktomy end up in such lack-of-color scheme. This must be due to their "poor" command in English.

Boardroom meeting between hasbro and taktomy:

Taktomy rep: I think we should find ways to utilise our mold to capture a bigger share of the market.
Hasbro rep: Nice idea. Let's put it in black and white and we review it later.

LOL.. I cant help but laugh. devy looks very happy boxed up like that. I can't help but wonder why Rampage is "assigned" to become right leg instead of Hightower. Hightower's actual size should be on par with long haul, while Rampage is smaller and more suitable to become the arm.

I can see Devy's hobby during his private time is fishing(for whales). Just flip out High tower's crane and he's good to go!

They sure did some mass shifting here in the real movie, devastator and prime/jetfire combo.

yeah...some ppl won't mind buying a KO toys if the price is reasonable..seller should be honest to the buyer
*
Yea.

Honesty is the best policy. Sellers who lie usually want to maximise profit by selling KO at ori price. They should be taken out and shot. They further "insults" the TF collector community as if we are too stupid not to be able to differentiate them.

Weird thing, this round SW depleted in collector shop instead of BB... hmm.gif  shocking.gif

not really weird le. All these while we were bombarded by BBs from all shapes, sizes and then being re-incarnated into boxset with other toys. The yellow fever sure hit us hard. Soundwave is newcomer, he deserves the attention.

From the look of leader Prime, seems like Hasbro is trying to cut down cost and reduce the quality of the first run of this toy. After the movie is out, maybe new premium batches with even more shiny/chrome parts can make the consumer feel it looks "way better" when compared against this one, hence translate to better sales.
