We developed an event headcount apps for all social gathering events. Our objective is the capture the total number of attendance and support by user locations. If the user are around the event location then they will be able to attend it..

We try to use it for Bersih 3.0 but for the lack of marketing we cant really spread the news out in mass..

We put alot of afford in developed this apps with all custom interface.. but we didnt received any support from Local user.. Although this is a free apps. but we notice from the 2 apps we developed.. Malaysian always lack of unity and supportive to local apps development.. EVEN these apps is for FREE... If this continue to be like that.. all those who are talented and capable will not be notice by international players...

Unlike Indonesia/singapore.. their apps development market had been growing and even those apps they developed are not up to par.. but their local user will at least download it and try it out..

Although our government have all the initiative/grant in MSC but they always will not favor those who are capable of. We hope in the near future we as MALAYSIAN will support Malaysia-Made apps or other development, this will only build our country reputation in the international market..

If i register with SSM as sole proprietor, can i register with Apple using company name as developer? Will they give DUNS number?

You won't need a DUNS unless you wish to sell as a company or under a certain corporation name as opposed to Individual name.

D-U-N-S is just an organization that verifies business credential. Back then we'll just send our incorporation form to Apple for verification. Guess they are skipping that now as the program grows.

Hi I have a good app idea for Malaysia that has never been done before. However, I have no app development knowledge. Is there a Malaysian company that can help me build the app and split profit? I know there's company like that in the states but not sure about here.

I don't think that's quite possible.

Yup, there are programmers and designers that you can tap to. But the keyword here is for hire. So you may need to upfront, unless those devs are your friends and relatives.

Ideas alone doesn't worth much.

IC. Thanks for the info. I was hoping instead of 'for hire', can get like partnership or something.

Well, it's better to raise up capital before doing something ambitious. Not necessarily from your own pocket though, maybe you can do a check on venture capitals or anything relevant. But not that it gonna be easy btw.

Either way, 'hiring' route is the only way to go. Unless you do have somebody close to do those 'dirty work', then you always need to hire someone.

Player will take on the role of Cyrus, a micro organism originated from a deserted asteriod landed on Earth.
