i flashed the new radio rom on to my unit... and i'm not sure if its maxis fooling around with me or the radio... shifting between 3G and HSDPA like mad just on my desk... whats the stock radio rom for R2A already ?

Hmm I don't know but it seems like Radio 1.11.25.76 is working for me but not Radio 1.14.25.55. =7

Guise, i am looking to purchase a 2nd hand unit of SEX1,
What are the main important things or function/hardware issues that i need to check (first time purchasing and using WM OS phone, so i am a total n00b)

Make sure there are no cracks around the battery case. Make sure the D Pad is still nicely coated with plastic. If it's flat means it has been peeled out.

Other than these 2 important points, don't forget to check every part of the phone to make sure it works. GPS, camera, call, message, email etc.

u could find rom at xda-developers website.. to go to the website..

google "xda x1 rom" then click da 1st link.

regarding on how to install.. it is not install.. it is by using flashing.

last few post, i do post some tutorial on how.. read it bak..

v1.14 no problem for me still.... GPS lock superbly fast... no worry at all for me now.. it always lock whenever i start my mapking/garmin...

i still prefer HTC camera driver rather than R3A camera driver... picture quality still HTC camera driver looks better n instantly auto-focus work more practical than R3A nid to press n hold button only will auto focus.

but, R3A camera work fine for me either... can get GPS coordinate easily...

anyway, there is a good news for Windows Mobile thread...!!!



Windows Mobile is the leading OS for next generation phone.. they currently put full effort on Windows Mobile.. which is 3 times more effort compare to RIM - blackberry and Iphone (dumb developer)...

manage to collect back my phone today, as the result :

complained for qwerty keyboard hard to press sometimes(not functioning).
action taken : replaced whole qwerty keypad

complained for navigation pad's got peel off and look's like bubble on the pad.
action taken : replaced the pad together with the front metal casing (all my scratches gone! yahoo!)

complained for wired headphone's speaker and answer key not functioning
action taken : replaced audio jack & wired headphone.

complained for lcd got glowing oval on it intermittently
action taken : not doing anything as they told that it is because the lcd's LED is placed on each edge that's why it cause it sometimes... need to show them how serious is it again if it happen again as they cant check what happen right now =\

overall, good services from ericserv, 3 working days to fixed my unit =)

well, which OS is superb actually depends on individual... some said symbian, some said OS X, and some said winmo... as long as dun end up become 1 of the stupid fanboi who go everywhere bash other OS's supporter...

hi all. got this SE X1 (silver) 3 months ago.. and just found out the existence of this thread. great to see lotsa X1 users here.

i was contemplating between X1 and HTC touch pro previously.. i got the X1 in the end because of its stainless steel casing and most importantly the 3.5mm jack!

i am using Jack's rom now.. finding youtube's video is lagging on the initial load. anyone experienced the same problem with me?

yeah... video got a bit of laggy... but still acceptable for me now cause im using smaberg's rom.. which is quite lite and lesser program installed..

add u into user list a while more bro...

I didn't know the Touch Pro doesn't have a 3.5mm jack...

haha, yeah.. tat wat i wanted for xperia too... touch pro doesnt support music experience...lolz.. give so lousy headphone summore..
