going to take it back someday, as now the "glowing" oval is no longer there...

I'm using stocked rom with SPB Mobile Shell 3, weird but even when I leave it idling, the back gets warm, and it drains A LOT of my battery. I wonder why >.>

hi, first of ALL... your device need to HARD-SPL 1... then update to newest radio (v1.14). then only u r able to smoothly flash to 3rd party rom.

hard-spl link is posted on 2nd post.

check out da hard-spl b4 flash. if not, it may brick ur device or juz fail the flashing process..

procedure to flashing RADIO is this:
1) rename the radio to kovsimg.nbh.
2) put it into storage card (microsd)
3) turn off your phone/pda
4) press n hold "Power" and "Volume Down" button.. HOLD
5) release it when u see Tri-colour screen.
6) follow instructions on screen
7) then u r on new radio now
8) to confirm, go to settings n device information.. u should see v1.14 radio ther.

hmm, how bout hard-reset your device? (may lost all your data).

XDA X1 rom development thread seem like slow down now... wat's wrong ar..haha.. anyway, i also got no time to flash new rom for these few weeks...

, before I have my Mobile Shell installed, it drains like 40% of my battery and now it drains 70%. It's a big difference. I'm pretty sure that I don't have any applications running in background. Does your X1 gets warm too rkwan67?

yeah of cause get warm.. but if not on idle condition.. even if i HSDPA connected whole day n music player all the time.. it wont hot.. unless is GPS running or charging it... then only get warm then hot..

Then I better send my unit for checkup =7

it have "glowing oval" on the screen once a while, and my navigation pad seem like got bubble on it btw the surface and the plastic, and some of the key quite difficult to press sometimes, need to press few times only it respond, also the wired handsfree's button and mic doesn't work

yeah... jack full rom very nice.. juz so sad i messed up TF3D weather database with no backup of original weather database... then i flashed to smaberg rom.. haiz haiz... wish i can flash to newer rom now.. smaberg rom quite stable in anyway.... but juz love jacks rom more..

anyway, i checked XDA website.. got a lot of wm6.5 rom.. anyone wishes to try it out??
