Nope, there should be no difference. Maybe that set would have some vodafone logo branding on it. You can always debrand the rom and flash one to your own liking later on.

i have answers for the bluetooth headset ady...

if u want to connect i mean to the phone...

1st - search your bluetooth headset model...then click n select....then save it.. (but pls do it w/o password as sony password its not 0000)

2nd - after saved ady...its automatically connected for the 1st time only..

3rd - if u disconnect it for charging or not using anymore, then when next time connect just on your X1 bluetooth & your bluetooth headset...

go to BLUETOOTH SETTINGS (at your phone) --> CLICK ON THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET MODEL (long click) --> then SET AS HANDFREE...it will automatically connect to your headset bluetooth..

bro, i need an advise, i had flash the ori. firmware to UK R3AA010. Let's say i wish to flash to custom rom, can i just overwrite it by putting the RUU file to my micro-sd?

Yes, just rename the image file to kovsimg.nbh then u can flash it.

hi guys. Just viewing this thread and found that X1 is so that awesome!!
Im planning to buy xperia X1 in KL instead in UK, as it is expensive to get a phone there within a year there.
So from here I want to ask that, do you guys have any hardware failure since you bought X1? for example cover crack, keyboard malfunction?
I knew that flashing the rom will void the warranty, so do you guys recommend me to buy AP set instead of thorus/midland warranty?

thorus set is still recommended. as if really got cracked casing, or keyboard problem. they r more willing to repair than those AP company.

i do got both problem now. crazy keyboard, and tiny crack on my casing. but i cant live without xperia even 1 day. so, havnt send for warranty yet. mine is 08 w52.

I would suggest that you go for the original set as far as I'm concern thorus is doing a 2 yrs warranty promotion now, I bought my in early august. Flashing with a custom rom will only void the warranty temporarily, u can always flash it back and undo the hard-spl.

wow, that was a quick feedback. For the cracked casing case, does SE Malaysia willing to change it for free? I still cant find this info from any site yet but from this thread, rm130 for it.

For the crazy keyboard you'd mentioned, is it sometimes what you type cant be displayed on the screen? or totally a malfunction key or keys ?

for the crazy keyboard.. it record double keystoke even though i typed 1.. like u backspace once, it backspace twice.. now worse, it record thrice.

all key is functional. just that problem.

im AP set user.. so far its ok.. used since July..
my last phone is Ap set too.. always bang on floor.. used for 3 years+ and stil counting without any hw failure, lend to my fren now..

actually i think its about luck, AP set can b as good as Ori set or even better, OR, they can b completely worst..

The casing is made from plastic? OMG!! currently i still using SE p990i, and yes i admit that the phone looks as a brick, hard as a brick too.
Same question from my previous post. will the cracked part goes even deeper as time pass by? How what do you think is the cause of the crack?

Also, I notice that touch pro has the arrow keys. What keys do X1 used to replace those? need to select from the screen while using the keypad?

my friend's P1 scratches like hell dy... is that called brick still? my dad p990i screen broke on a fall.. n the colour become so dirty, dark brown now.. the keypad all chips off, side as well.. all chips off...

xperia casing crack is a famous case.. but it is resolved on new batch, but no one know which batch is it. the crack is from battery compartment to centre of set, the crack part isnt support anything else. so it wont go deeper wan, it juz stay.
