Using Jack 3.3 but the Xpanel is not working. how??

Make sure you install the ActiveX Deployment and R3A Panel Manager from the UC folder.

Then i used AEbutton to map it back. but 2 icons below for change view and setting are missing.

Anyway, will try to flash Jack 3.4 after recharge the battery to full.

Added on June 7, 2009, 4:52 amI just tried many times to HardSPL b4 flash Jack3.4.
But now i found problem that after the tricolor mode, when turn to white color screen with "Loading....." on top, the USB connection lost and the phone freeze there, and the HardSPL utility on the PC show error 260 usb connection error.

i have try many times by plug in and out the USB port, hard reset, check only ActiveSync on the USB connection on the X1, etc... still the same!
I knew the main problem is due to the PC cannot reconize the connection when phone turn to bootloader mode as i can see the Windows Mobile Device Center show the X1 was disconnected!!!

I knew many ppl have this experience, how to solve it???
have try search on the xda forum but couldn't get a clear and definite solution.
Pls help.....

I plan to get 1. Few questions

1) Market price in KL/PJ
2) How to know its original set i.e not AP?
3) What is the standard accessories?
4) Is it a relatively good Wm6.1 PDA? I've compared with Touch Pro2 but the price is far apart....

Ermm I got a couple of problems with my phone, I think.

1. The backlight during calls.
By default, the backlight will be turned off after a few seconds during the call. I already modified the registry to disable it (so that the backlight won't turn off). But the backlight still will turn off during the call.

2. The dreaded SMS notification.
I also disabled the notification but I still get the notification SMS after sending SMS.

I don't know what is wrong with my X1i. I already softreset the phone a few times but to no avail. Anyone can help me?

*** I flashed the phone to Touch-IT v9.

the plastic covering my cover lens has a crack in it... is there anyway to fix this? is it my fault or would it be under warranty?

Hello mate, Im not sure how you flash your ROM, but this is what i did (without any problem so far)
1. Hardspl (just follow instruction, and only need 1 time hardspl only)
2. Format your card to 32 FAT
3. Copy ROM to your root, and name it to kovsimg.nbh
4. Turn off your phone (unplugged everything from any connection), press power button and volume down untill 3 stripe screen appears.
5. Follow instruction, and done!

If you can tell me how you flash yours than maybe we can think off what went wrong.

What i did was edit registry in registry/HKLM/Drivers/BuitlIn/RIL/EnableFastDormantDisplayDuringCall to 0. Works perfectly.
For sms notification, I disable it using advanced cinfig tools under message.

2) The thorus and midland stickers? and also imei numbers. Other maybe you can refer to thread regarding diff between ap and ori.
3) earphone, charger, 2 stylus, battery, booklet (afew of them).
4) AFAIK, touch pro 2 is brand new phone, which just launch these couple of week. Maybe that is the reason. But for me, experia is really great WM device (especially after flashin to TF3D Rom ).

Ok, I follow the step of Hardspl from xda forum as following:
1) Plug in the USB port and the Phone Synced with PC in Windows Mobile!
2) run X1_HardSPL.exe.
3) follow steps in the RUU, and check on the device for prompts after PC shows loading bar.
4) it go to tricolour screen now and say 0.52.OliNex.MFG (this is SSPL!).
5) Hard-SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done.

this was very successfull without any problem for the first time when i flash Jack 3.3.
So now i follow the same but it fail when after the tricolor screen. I try many time it will have the Error 260 and the X1 freeze at the "Loading..." white screen. I can see the WMDC show device disconnected. I try unplug plug the USB then my PC show unidentified USB device.

For flashing ROM using microSD method is noproblem. I only have problem for HardSPL. so u mentioned only need 1time hardspl only, is it mean now i flash new ROM like Jack 3.4 no need to flash hardSPL again? Pls confirm this.

Once you have HardSPL once, you do not need to HardSPL anymore if you ever want to switch to whatever ROM you want.

However, my set, which has the common plastic 'bubbling' around the D-Pad was not allowed to receive warranty from Sony Singapore.

OIC!!! I thought everytime flash new ROM also need to HardSPL first.
Haha.... all the Flash ROM instruction mentioned HardSPL first before flashing ROM. it should say at least the device must have HardSPL once before.

but too late... now i already found the solution to solve the problem of the USB connection. I just successfully done the hardSPL again by following:

1. Turn off the phone first and disconnect the USB and put it into bootloader tricolor screen.
2. Reconnect the USB and let the PC detect the connection and reinstall the driver.
3. Turn off the phone, remove the microSD which contain the Kosvimg.nbh and restart the phone and follow the HardSPL instruction.

i think there problem is:
1. Sometime windows can't reconised the USB connection when we plug unplug like our USB thumb drive. So it need to rerecognise and reinstall driver.

2. A conflict in bootloader mode when doing hardSPL with microSD containing Kosvimg.nbh. It will try to load the Kosvimg.nbh instead of HardSPL. Then it freeze at the "loading..." screen.

If everything OK, the hardSPL just completed within few seconds!
now i have flashed the Jack3.4. will report if anything.

haha...Now i'm very confident on flashing ROM already after so much hassle!!
next is hunting for software!!! Ahem!! Ahem.......

Anybody having trouble with Jack 3.4 Full and the newest radio recommended by Jack?

I'm using DiGi and I can't get my EDGE to work, Data Connection is not available because it is not set up. I tried to set up using SMS but it just won't reply me after saying 'Send Y to receive internet settings'

now in Jack3.4, my phone can detect 3G Maxis. Not yet try the data connection.
btw, i foudn that after install new ROM, i can't map my action keys into whatever i want. after a while it switch back to the soft key.
i like the 2 keys to be the rotate screen and ok/close which i use the most. Any solutions for this?

Try AE Button Plus? It's included in the ROM.

I've solved my problem using the 'Connections Setup' in Start -> Settings -> Connections.

Very simple to use and it works.

Yes, that was the key I modified (following this guide). And for SMS notification, I also used Advanced Config.

anyway.. my 1 at first got problem caz connection setup wasnt on by default. nid to go settings auto connection there set it up ourself..

if after set dy still cannot connect EDGE, then really nid to check it out dy.. check da connection ther.. see da settings all correct o not..

APN should mydigi i think.. celcom is confirmed celcom3g.

flashed to Touch IT v10.2...

perfect rom and stable....fixed bt disconnection issue...

i using r3 official rom but i feel got abit lag with it any better rom can intro to me???

ah haha... i formatted like over 10 times before settling on gtrab's pure xperia roms. the few better ones i remember are gtrab's, jack's, touch it, and touch x roms.
