yes, this is the one to shave. I really found no where to shave in ur 1st pic.
I shave the cylinder head though, about 0.6mm.
*
ok... so if i shave tis part, wat bout the piston?? should i deepen the valve pockets?? should use the original gasket or racing gasket?? hmm.gif

My LC ady can win FZ150i from 0 - 120kph. Still 135cc

Not yet fully optimized. My exhaust system limited my true power, gotta design a custom pipe for myself soon.

let's see what we can squeeze out of a 135cc with stock camshaft, hahaha.
Saran: yes, deepen the valve pocket slightly. I am still using standard gasket.
*
ok... wat bout the head bro? our stock head can be used as it is or need modification??

Agree with charge. skim the part towards the top contacting the head.
the point of skimming block is to increase compression ratio. Make your own calculation to increase by say 0.5.

Added on June 10, 2009, 11:51 pm

Google it lah...

Added on June 10, 2009, 11:58 pm

Check the thickness of std gasket vs racing. My guess is racing gasket thinner.
If shave block, need to either deepen piston valve pocket.
Note: Deepen the valve seat on the head will not help.

Well, there's always one bike that can smoke the rest. there's R1, then there's Haya, then there's B2K...
Belang should be very similar to FXR150 - if not mistaken, the same engine from a sports bike to a kapcai frame to appeal to the urban riders.

How can a 140kmh Belang goreng an LC? Should be on-par, right? Or do you mean pickup time lost?
*
well sir alexei, i've already done 0.5mm shave with deepening of piston valve pockets... jz wana ask... if i tend to deepen the valve pockets more than required... lets say i deepen by 2mm whereas is onli 1mm needed... wil tis affect the performance/compression??

and about the belang... there is surely some serious power in tat beast... brows.gif tested it already... max speed 160km/j...rpm cutoff at 12k rpm flex.gif pls note tat its meter is similar to a car's... nt as 'ringan' as our LC meter...

Yeah, let's meet up next month or so.
I need some time to run in 160cc block (58.5mm bore) tongue.gif
I've tried with RGV before with current setup, still lose.
My gear ratio is too wide. I seriously want 6 gears on my bike !! laugh.gif
1st gear ok, 2nd gear onwards further a bit, 3rd gear (80kph onwards).... RGV starting to pull away.
Yes, you will lose some compression.
Perhaps you need to shave more in order to get more compression back tongue.gif
*
fuyohhh... some1 is already using big bore... haha... so wat cam r u using bro?? n bout the compression... higher compression is better for acceleration (pickup) rite?? or izt better for both top speed n pickup??

Aiyayaya gua prob sudah Kau Tim lu kena pula LCian really bad luck tis few days. Ei charge 57mm = 150cc right?? Instead of Carb wat else should we change if we wan to use a bigger block??
*
exhaust must hav a better airflow.. suggest change manifold or aftermarket pipes... cam (tis is a must) to unleash the real power of big bore... brows.gif if change cam, must use better valve springs... last but nt least, the cdi... to maximize the power in higher rpm... nod.gif

32mm. Not sure TM or VM, its round slide, not flat slide.
I think it's a custom model, with a Yamaha 4HF part number.

Added on June 12, 2009, 8:36 pmOk, I don't mean to offend anyone by outrunning LC-ian here, just making friends.
For the record, my bikes all stock, no mod. I appreciate and satisfied with the original performance.

Belang... someday i smoke them for you guys la, ha?!

Added on June 12, 2009, 8:46 pm

I think it's 32mm, as measured on mine.
It's the inner diameter of the smaller out port.
Haha, I no sir, just son of a motorsmith.
Do you need to deepen the valve clearance on the piston? Just make sure the valve's won't hit on the piston after the 0.5mm shave...
Did you mean deepen the valve pocket on the engine head? You would need a stiffer valve spring to handle that extra travel.
As for the compression, like Charge said, as long as no knocking would be fine. It's not easy to detect knocking as far as I know, so need luck here.
Additional 1mm? what's the diameter of the valve tapet head?
Ok, would love to meet Sang Belang on the road. Just to say hi...
*
i mean the valve pockets on the piston... m jz scared its too deep... so m curious tat if extra deepening of valve pockets on piston will decrease the performance/compression.. rclxub.gif

Then we'll do 0-100 on the safe side, ok?
Find someday we convoy, then we do top speed? Mine is only 140... drag for a minute it'll touch 150. Not sure meter accurate or not.

Added on June 12, 2009, 8:53 pmMay I ask, feel free to answer, why u guys don't choose a 2-stroke bike?
*
ya man.. we all should arrange a convoy among our club members.. rclxm9.gif any proposals...?? hehe
2-stroke bikes are really close to my heart... as my former bike was Y125z.. brows.gif bout the performance and looks it doesnt need any explanation as it speaks for itself... but maintainance part... doh.gif poket really kering lo... haha... neway up for 2-stroke bikes thumbup.gif

fuel consumption for 2-stroke bike is bad, not suitable for me as students.
furthermore need to spend more on good quality 2T oil. most of 2-strokers also have a loud exhaust sound,
people might think we're rempit with those loud muffler. on the other hand, 4-strokers esp LC is much more silent nod.gif
wow, those enkei '3-batang' rims is a rare item now. it also a hot item among thieves,
so becareful with them as I read somewhere that a guy lost his 125z. main attraction is of course his Enkei rims sweat.gif
*
sure bro.. wil keep tat in mind... sumore my bro is the tai-low in his college.. so no need to worry ma... biggrin.gif

Your LC now also you wanna mod block and head, same la bro. Good luck yo.

Added on June 13, 2009, 12:38 am
30mm at the venturi or the slide area. That's the diameter of the airflow cross-section.

no prob wit the mods bro... onli my hands often itchy when ppl overtake me arrogantly... biggrin.gif
