errmmm... for me, i see what kind of guitar the the guitarist(the band that u listen) is using..... i use the craftman strat+ line6 30... coz the guitarist use edwards or fernandes strat... ... so far im satisfied.... im a nubie, so just on the crunch channel, walla, its edi feel the same tone/music like the song that i want to play. i hear no different while the other pros are very sensitive to find the right tone, they even change their guitar.... btw i play laruku

I reckon Ibanez Gio. I myself am using it. Its slightly cheaper, so you can save on your amps and its suitable to play from rock to metal.

ya if u wanna get smthing more rock into it go for the humbucker one..
