is Peavey Raptor a good electric guitar? heard that its sound is awesome even on a normal 12watt amp. Is it good for first timers like me?

As suggested by many, get a 2nd hand / pre-own e guitar cos as a beginner, you might want to upgrade it later once u learn more stuff... or what type of music you like to play...

Preferably with single coil and humbuckers pickup so that you will know which type of sound you like..

Go for fixed bridge instead of floating tremolo as a beginner....

You get a better value for money for 2nd hand guitar cos they are usually of higher range ( or cheaper ) compared to those starter e guitar + amp kit...

Decide on yr brand ... Brands like Squier by Fender or Ibanez are common and have lots of WTS...

Monitor & Search the Tradezone WTS for 2nd hand elec guitar...

Patience is key...

I got myself a 2nd hand Squier Strats HSS + Amp after searching & doing my research for 2-3 weeks online and in as many guitar shops...

Good luck & have fun in yr e.guitar search ... budget should be around RM500-800+ for a decent 2nd hand guitar + Amp...

Hi, i did a lil bit of research basically from my understanding is:
1.dun get package deal, they always give lousy amps
2. Beginner should get pacifica 012, sx (is this the brand?) which exact model should i get or?
3. I've been told by music shop that the cheap packages like 499 or 599, the guitar quality not good, make lousy sound, and is like processor chips they sell cheap because sorta like bin 3 quality

Now the Q
1.What do you mean by higher range, how do i know if a guitar is higher range? Sorry for my noob question.
2.Lets say if i get used, what kinda of thing is wear and tear and what should i check?
3. My budget is 750 what can i get? i want to learn to play something blues and some solo, and I was inspired by canon rock by jerry c on youtube. Like that one budget can learn ah?

Come people give me some oppinions so i can enhance my google search, Thanks

- Closing thread at has become more of a place to sell their stuff rather then suggest guitars. Will reopen once deemed fit -
