ok ok ler quatro 1,2,3 all got different soundsignature
for 1 i quite like it for it's perfectly balanced good mids and soundstage (loses to um3x or ie8, shure 530 and those high end iems)
2 is somehow like er-6 light bass but good details and separation (still lacking imagining and focus and very light bass)
3 well is for basshead.....too heavy for me to handle like atrios..(bOOM BOOM ) headache aledi
this mite be bias for me but i dun like the woodies 1 and 2
heavy,rough and a pain to put into my ears......high sibliance and very very bloated for me...
imo, if u got um1,shure230,atrios, and want to upgrade this quatros r meant for u
an upgrade to Bijou crossroads and mylars...not bad imo

ahahah PcWork...kesian yuheng weh...he gotta OT tonite...so i cant get my amp already...he said tomorrow...hopefully he comes at the right time...coz my work start d...lalllaa~

A slight bit update on the Secret Amp.


Seems to be back in production process.
Hurm... Those who are still waiting should get their amp soon. How soon, not too sure, but probably after a week.

Wow that secret amp picture... Out of ordinary, this amp really have good looks. Nice job Keep it up guys

Okay review time...

ok tried the crossfeed juz now...fliped the secret switch and maxed the crossfeed...fuwah...i noticed the diff in soundstage...so i tried toying around with the crossfeed...if you noticed...you can control the front and back of the positioning of soundstage....if that is not cool enough...i seriously dunno what is cooler than this then LOL

ok so i fliped the secret switch off...the signature changed,it turns out to be more agressive...that means when the switch was on it was more subtle...now its agressive now...does this get you now?this means this amp will almost please both audiophiles that is looking for an amp which have BOTH characteristics...this imho is a major step...but too bad we cant control the positioning of the soundstage when its on aggressive mode

another thing i had not confirmed is the battery life...but so far im still using it from the 1st charge...no time to listen to music these days...too busy

Battery life will be about 8~12 hours, mine usually lasting about 10.

Don't worry, got battery upgrade option. 200++ hours if I am not mistaken.

Plus it refines the sound reproduction. Just waiting for it. lol

The amp maker contacted me about the Secret Amp, advised me to do a full 24 hour charge on the amp as it takes some time to charge.


Battery life should be longer than what I've mentioned. Stay tuned.

my demo version secret amp pcb with normal version battery (non upgraded) already can run more than 150 hours per charge. =P
i am pretty sure it's not 8-12 hours.
but don't charge it. then leave it alone. until 4 weeks later only u use. then of course it will left just 10 hours +/-
if u charge it fully, then straight away use it. i think it has no problem more than 100 hours.

Haha. Most likely it isn't fully charged yet, that's why the amp makers contacted me and asked me to retest the charging.


My bad on that part.
Gonna give it a try after a 24 hour full charge. Will come back with more updates.
