Don't worry, you are from FOM, so you will still be mainly be regarded as a management student, unless you take FCM, then they will expect more from you. So you don't really have to be very good, if you can draw a few stick man, that should do, haha. Just kidding la, actually like I said, they will spoon feed you and it won't really be that hard.
3.00 is ok la, 3.67 is very hard la. Haha. Different people have different learning style, I can't read a book for more than 30 mins, I will practically fall asleep, than my GF will kick me up. So all I do is listen and understand during lectures, if you don't understand, ask! Many people still have those Asian attitude, if ask then you will be label (a** kisser, stupid, annoying, etc etc) Don't care, and just ask, I ask, but I still have plenty of friends, so there are no down sides, those who dislike you because of your attitude in class, they are the ones who have problems that needs to be address and not you.
Hehe, pardon me for my 'ah ma' lecture.

@Whos Your Daddy: You suppose need the basic skills, but even if you can't don't worry, during the first year, they will be teaching lots of fundamental skills to you, just do more exercise than you should be flying in no time.
Yea, its not impossible to maintain second class upper. Most of the time, what I do is really focus in lecture if the subject is hard. Else, I will skip that class and do self study. That's my style and most lecturers that has been teaching me, do know this too. I do not expect anyone to follow this. This is purely my method of study. Every subject has its style of learning. Its like going to KL. There are so many routes and ways to go. So, which one suits you best? Like if for maths, if use reading method, surely can manage only to pass the subject (at least) but unable to score. To score, you really need to do exercise.
