WTF!!! doh.gif  What year are you in? OMG
Don't worry, I have the same case as you, but don't worry, like what we've mentioned before, just make sure you pay attention in class, and play as much as you like, I practically don't study outside of class, other than doing assg. For Acc, all you need to do is just have a little practice, if you are still lazy, just make sure you finish your tutorials, it aint that hard, so just chill, no point of avoiding the whole programme just because of one lousy subject right?

Why WTF? lolx, Im in gamma. So?

Dear all,

For the students of June 2009 intake (including October 2009 Intake and January 2010 Intake) who enrolled into the degree programme, Senate 140 decided that:
i) Students who registered for May/June 2010 MUET, their candidature will be extended until the release of the MUET results in July 2010.
ii) Students who are yet to register, must register in May 2010 to sit for November/December 2010 MUET and their candidature will be extended until the release of the MUET results in January 2011.
iii) Students who failed to get MUET Band 3 or above must appeal to President upon termination of candidature. This is only for those who are going to take the upcoming two MUET examinations but fail to meet the requirement, and not for those who have taken MUET but failed to meet the requirement.

In the next Senate Meeting, the Senate will consider for those who have taken MUET but failed to meet the requirement. If they haven't register for the upcoming MUET examination, they are requested to register in May 2010 to sit for November/December 2010 MUET and their candidature will be extended until the release of the MUET results in January 2011. If they already registered for May/June 2010 MUET, their candidature will be extended until the release of the MUET results in July 2010. However, this has to be officially decided in Senate Meeting.

The Senate further clarifies that all students entering Beta level in 2009/2010 Session, regardless of channel, will be given 1-year grace period to obtain Band 3 and above in MUET. However, the management is still in the midst of finding solution to solve the MUET capacity in MMU. This grace period might be given to batch in next academic year as well. Senate will deal with this batch by batch.

The management will soon announce the method used to categorize the students according to MUET registration/achievement.

The above statement is provided by Mr Desmond Kho (Special Assistant of Vice President (Academic)'s Office).

Regarding the capacity of the MUET in MMU, Senate will discuss in their next meeting on how to allocate enough capacity for students.

Thank you.

Hei.. I was just wondering...I'm a post SPM student and I hope to get a few answers to my questions..

1) MMU Melaka campus has a degree course called BIT(HONS) Security Tech... anybody studyin/studied dat course before? How's the course? Does it really give sumone who is intrsted in computer forensics an advantage compared to computer science students?

2) Is MMU a partner to companies like Cisco, Microsoft and EC-Council? I heard that SEGI students can take the Certified Ethical Hacker cert at a lower fee coz SEGI is a partner...

Thx to all ya... biggrin.gif
*
First of all. Hello.
Security seemed to have good demand in the market currenty. And bout partners, mmu only have like a relationship with microsoft, infenion and etc..

QUOTE(NoiZy @ Mar 2 2010, 06:53 PM)
My current Global Marketing lecturer actually hinted to us that oil price will increase on Jan and a few more hidden agenda which should be kept hush hush.
My Strategic Management Lecturers gives good example
My Japanese Lecturer tries to teach us the culture of Japan and not just the language
My Marketing Communication lecturer just goes by the power point slides
My Macro Economics lecturer will at most goes by the textbook
My Web Marketing and Strategic Marketing lecturer don't even bother to use the textbook but gives a lot of insights.

Basically it depends on the lecturers in the end. One of my lecturer has this dare in every subject he teaches, 'go to the front of the class, stand of the lecturer's table and sing Britney Spears' Hit Me Baby One More time (must be able to give an oommph). And you will automatically get 20% (out of total 100%) free in your coursework, there are students who took the dare and scored 20% free.
Gavin!! Read this Pissed!!! FOM Cafe!!!

Why still like that one, any idea?

have you told src cyber about the food?

@NoiZy, if i not mistaken i couldn't choose bmie from the application form already, it is mean that it's officially removed, if it is real, then the option for me now is only your course, is your course hard? i heard rumours that mmu have higher failure rate,  is that true? mind to elaborate more about your course?
*
why you so worry about the failure rate? if you do your job as a student. I am quite sure that you wont fail.. Play your role as a student well...

You can refer the estimated fees at the front page of this thread.
If the college is recognized my MQA, usually recognized by MMU as well.

Hmm, here's something. What if I take foundation in UTAR and then pursue my degree in Computer Science in MMU. Is that possible?
*
I do not think UTAR certificate is recognised. COx UTAR did not follow the LLL semester set by MQA. UTAR foundation students cannot even apply PTPTN as they did not follow MQA's rules and regulations

hi gavin,kal-el...
are there any other place i can get the "Disahkan/Approval" for the result?? and i don't have any co-curriculum cert or sport/cub i mean club activities..but in the leaving school cert state that i have some sport activities..hmm maybe my teacher trying to help me or something...loll... do i still qualified to apply...and i still haven't do the MUET..im high school spm graduate...do i need to do muet first to enroll with foundation studies no rite?

anyway with my result like this shiatt~ can i do the foundation in engineering? i screw up my spm really2 bad..
BI=A
MATH=A
PAI=B+
SEJARAH=B+
BM=B
ICT=B
ADD MATH=C+
PHYSICS=C+
CHEMISTRY=C

about the result..i go photo copy the slip then get the cop/stamp "APPROVAL" then it good to go rite?
so if im applying many universities or college i need them to cop/stamp approval as many as the photo copy i bring to them?
*
Your results, seemed ok to take foundation in engineering. ( minimum is all 5 C include English, Mathematics and one Engineering-related subject.)
Places like commissioner of oath also can sahkan.
Its ok, they will not really see you’re leaving certificate and compare with the actual certificate. As long as you have the leaving certificate will do. You can take MUET when u goes to MMU, during your foundation. They will announce, when you need to take MUET exam when u come to MMU.

Just go to your school, each certificate, you photocopy 5 sets. I recommend you send to UNITEN as well. Any idea engineering majoring in what?

MMU OPEN DAY

Melaka is a much more vibrant place than cyber. There is a better variety of food there at a cheaper price too and tastier too.
Cyber is rather peaceful/quiet/isolated due to its location.It is also the location too that causes common items such as maggi,soap,drinks and even food sold there slightly more expensive than hypermarkets and melaka.

I believe that you yourself will be the best thing there is to control your study environment. But,if you are the type that needs the environment to control your habit, I strictly recommend you to stay in MMU Cyber's hostel. I myself was a lazy bump back in my tarc days and flopped badly. After enrolling into cyber, the environment did help me to change into a better person. But still.. it boils down to yourself. smile.gif
I am from the Cyberjaya campus. Regarding the environment, refer to my reply to loyallovehuatyen.
For accountancy, both campuses follow a similar course structure and syllabus, right down to the same exam paper. I got no info regarding the lecturers there but the my friends in Melaka are quite proud of their lecturers while we in Cyber are proud of ours too. (there will be some lousy lecturers here and there, nothing's perfect)

For a little secret regarding Cyberjaya, please click.

Thanks for the info man and the additional secret thumbup.gif
By the way, do you think you can post up some pictures of the hostel?..
Just wanna look at the condition of the room.
