Actaully Mechanical, UTAR is not bad as well. SOme lecturers from MMU went there as well. Yeap, but your results are fairly average. What is past is past. But you just need to really work hard. Mechanical is not easy. Quite high in failing rate. BUt look at the bright side. Do what you need to do as a student. You really need to work hard and it does not comes easy. Physics and maths is super dupper important when comes to this. In terms of books, you can always ask tthe lecturer what book does the lecturer suggest. If you are hardworking, u can read it. And I am sure u can get the book from the library. Currently, MMU library have the ability to borrow books from other university like UM, USM, UTP, UNITEN and etc.

MOst of the time, exchange programme, will go to US. other country, not very sure... hehe

But, personally there is good things and bad things about scolarship.
good thing is u can get a job straight without interview (interview for scholarship only)
but bad thing is, you will be bonded. Some 8 years, some 10 years. 5 years is lucky..

hopever, besides FAMA (Father and Mother Asso), there is PTPTN. Do a simple calculation, economy crisist, 4% inflation. But the loan interest is 1%. Lower than bank loan. So, if you are under FAMA, apply PTPTN also. Why? Free money! Just apply, if get, then go do investment. After grad, you can return the money back and you have an investment in hand.

Frankly, I duno why, but when comes to MMU, after you see the fees is high and make you angry, somehow, you wil be good when comes to money. You will be able to think better and invest better. Muahah, maybe just happends on me? God knows.. Lolx..

Yea, somehow, cyber people can take train and go everywhere, even KLCC and etc i they want. Byt melaka, after some time, you will be... erm... where... to erm... eat? hang out? T.T

actually u can even submit everything on registration day. and even pay RM1.8K on the day, but will be a bit messy. Try submit before end of april

I still don't know why people like to compare colleges, university colleges with MMU, which is a university. Its different standard.

MMU = UNI
SEGI, NILAI, and etc = mostly colleges and college University only..

MMU is using the olden days technique. There is no hostel at all now. I mean at ALL. No watercity, WYF, and etc etc. instead, students are expected to accommodate all housing area nearby the campus.

The good thing is, its way more cheaper in terms of rent if is at housing area. But is a bit not so safe. for girls, try not to stay too far away. If can get taman dahlia, should be fine. Taman kerjasama is ok for guys (guys being raped?)

Added on March 19, 2010, 11:32 amand degree is now more than 40K.. 40K-49K, depending on the course. Foundation around 11K. U need to standby 3K, since PTPTN only give 8K. And if really can, try not apply PTPTN in foundation (if really can).

I have a few case, PTPTN reject the penangguhan pembayaran balik. This is because, if apply foundation for PTPTN, then you will need to apply again in degree. But then, since you are studying for degree, you will want to bring forward the payment and extend it. Means you will need to pay back after you grad. After grad, you will pay (foundation + degree) loan.

But then, there is few people, penangguhan wan rejected. And PTPTN want them to pay back for the foundation. The result was? Unable to get RM46K loan... If you cannot pay urself for foundation, its ok. Then apply PTPTN.

BUT make sure you have all your documents and submit them properly. Often read bulletin board will do the trick. How to read? thats why there is orientation...

Usually you will get your offer letter somewhere around may.. if you are lucky will be in end april. If not mistaken YTM or not sure which scholarship, u need at least 7A
