You can subscribe more but there is no guarantee to get it.

All depends on whether others would subscribe or not.

Judge on the trading of OR right now, there should not a problem on full subscription.

Over subscribe , looks possible in a booming market.

The additional subcription is possible provide nobody want the right. However, no guarantee for you to get it. I got similar call for my Maybank RI. biggrin.gif

Axiata May Rise; Eyes AKTEL Listing, Assets Sale

0033 GMT [Dow Jones] Axiata Group (6888.KU) may rise to around MYR1.90 from Friday's close at MYR1.83 (+1.1%), traders tip; Malaysian Reserve reports mobile phone operator may consider listing its 70%-owned Bangladesh unit, AKTEL, in 2010. "We will still look at it. It will happen in the next year or two," Axiata's Chief Executive Jamaludin Ibrahim says according to report. Jamaludin adds company open to divesting its non-core assets. "There are two issues here which may pique the interest of investors. In the immediate term, I think asset disposal may be on the cards and this should help buffer the company's balance sheet. The second issue is the potential listing of AKTEL which will help Axiata realize some value in its investment. This may be more attractive for long-term investors," says institutional dealer. Finally, just got call from Maybank. As I am having odd lots i.e 6.25 lot, they suggest to make to even lot i.e 10 lot. I told them ok. She asked me to bank in RM1132. Seems like there's no extra cost for the 325 OR. I thought I would have to buy 3.75 lot AXIATA-OR at market price to make it to 10 lot (but looks like given for free depending on availability)?

Anyone got similiar case ?

I am a total noob. So here goes...

No maybank called me, I received a form to fill in. Whther to 'acceptance' or 'to exercise' the rights?
What it is?
To accept is to buy Axiata-or, so pay 60+ cents per share?
To exercise is to buy Axiata, so pay 1.12 plus 60+ cents per share?
Am I right or not?

Let me know if the question sounds stupid blush.gif

It is correct. You bought OR at 60+cents and you need to add additional 1.12 to subcribe the right.

Your statement look confuse to me either....

you actually cannot subscribe the right it is your entitlement given to you if you hold TMI shares to the basis of 5:4 or buy the right (TMI-OR) 60+ from the market, in fact you are "exercising" the right (if you still holding TMI-OR) by paying 1.12 to subscribe the share of TMI or you can opt to forego the right by doing nothing.
