hi susugetah, i got a blok made from a friend and i tried to do some silkscreen with it using rubber ink.

my question; how come the t-shirt somehow is "lekat" together with the blok and this eventually damages the print on the tee. you know, texture isn't perfect.

is it wet when you put it on the shirt ?
this always happen when you over put the rubber ink on the wood block and as you pull the ink onto your silkscreen wood block it'll leak and bleed on the shirt.

HAHAHAh I got lazy and used an iron-on paper for my project. Malu malu..

but I have high hopes for my new budding -not-yet-start Tshirt business now. Must start my journey to con school kids into buying my stuff.

That's uncool , con school kids into buying your stuff ? You should be ashamed of yourself.

*UPDATE How to silkscreen without lightbox ?
user posted image
silkscreen frame ,
rm4.50 for a3
for the silk , rm5.90 from kamdar

fabric paint rm2 also can get tongue.gif
photo emulsion vision art rm25 plus sensitizer rm6.50

nope , no need. if theres any error , the screen still can be used smile.gif
if youre still confuse , you can look for the video in youtube !
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cnu1GICScks

you use normal paper and cooking oil ! tongue.gif
yeah you can make diy lightbox , i use two thick silkscreen frame to make mine.
dont bother asking other lowyat forumers for help with the lightbox ,
i did once and they started bragging about them making lightbox and
obviously not helping me with my lightbox. i got very irritated.

Anyway lol out of topic , in the end i made my own lightbox with only rm30
i think. or you can get the vision art lightbox for rm95

user posted image

i use my own used silkscreen frame to combine and made a frame out from it
and i use a flat piece of wood so i can put my ringlight to it, the glass costed
me around rm12 , the ringlight around rm10 ( rm8 for the ring light ) and most
of the stuff i found around the house hahahaha basically i just korek and use whatever i have.

quite mafan tho , but it's fun makng your own lightbox smile.gif
good luck !

This is photo emulsion , i recommend socomask , ( its the black container , the emulsion is purple )
I bought the emulsion from somewhere in kl i cant remember ._. and the green bottle ,
the emulsion is in red. the red version is good , but make sure your silk have smaller holes.
lol must use expensive silk.I'll upload the other picture later.

ok .
tapi saya rasa org kat kamdar ipoh nie
bengap2 skit.

sebab i pernah try wat dulu.
tapi bila i apply emulsion kat kain yg mcm jaring.
emulsion tebus dan byk yang meleleh keluar..
after i nak cuci frame.
blok x jdi. abis terkopek semua ..

nasib jumpa toturial yg berguna nie.
sempoi la ang pkai viper..
idea yg bagus.

aku rase ang la master of diy silkscreen.
heehheh:p
guide me ok.
