I'm taking multimedia design. they will have this for foundation but only for a project.
I continued making screens cause self interest , flash also.. ( maybe i should put up a tutorial ? tongue.gif )
tongue.gif im in sem 3 year 1 havent touch flash yet ( which they will soon in year 2 )
If you really love doing art manually and digitally , you will be able to pick up fast , as there is internet you can find many many tutorials out there. Maybe in our country , sometimes we dont have things we need here to do our stuff then have to order and yadayadayada.

You should take the course if youre interested because we're totally different from graphic design course tongue.gif something different tongue.gif I freelance too , just in case if you wonder multimedians only do websites and flash and computers , we do ads , motion graphic , prints and yeah multi-media stuff.

no youre not , I dont get it at first too. =)
I dont mind explaining ,

The most important item in silkscreening is = photo emulsion
photo emulsion is like film. ( they use this photo emulsion for polaroid tongue.gif if still dont understand can ask me again but the emulsion for polaroid is super sensitive )

This photo emulsion is not that sensitive. in fact you can actually just do it in open air , without a darkroom. All you need is just a room with dim lights.

and of course we need to print the image ( that we want to burn onto the screen ) and it has to be black ! because when the lights go through your paper , it will burn the image onto the screen when you expose it. and when the image is burned onto the screen, the black parts will fall off when you wash the screen.

the screen : the frame is to hold the silk ketat ketat and so we can put emulsion and burn the image onto it. its like a platform tongue.gif

Understand anot ? tongue.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

rubbermilk... i see u always use oil to make the paper transparent.....
Is the result same as I use photostat machine to print on transparent paper?
But i think if use oil, the paper still not 100% transparent....
If the result about same.... then can save money for using cooking oil only... haha... As the transparent paper not cheap...

Use paper better , most of the silkscreening factories they use paper and oil. yeah and i heard if you use oil and paper , the image will be nicer. =) I never use transparency. ok la only once ( which was the first time and i failed lol )

well you can say that we can cheat the light by using oil to make your paper transparent lol
