I think its a 65% to 70%?
I know biz is 70% and I heard engineering you need only 65% but its kinda hard to get 65% above in eng. But this is my advice. Do your best in your 1st year. That's where the easy HDs (High Distinctions) come from. After years 1 and 2... you'll be on your knees thanking god if you can even get Cs (Credits) and Ds (Distinctions). But its great fun if you really love engineering good luck Added on May 18, 2010, 11:45 pmvcj1992, I would advice you to do 3 years over here. Hey everyone!
How are you? I'll be joining the MUFY programme at Sunway this July. I'm soo excited =D I was wondering if some of you could guide me regarding what Mathematics I should take at MUFY. I'll be joining the BBusCom programme in Monash. Fundamental Mathematics A is easy peasy. I would say a free 100 marks, according to the description. I don't know a word of Mathematics A. Is any of the two more preferred? What would you suggest I do? Thank you! =) |

Do you need to pass ISAT to enter into all courses in Monash Sunway campus? What is the passing mark for ISAT to take up Medicine and other non critical courses?

65-70% alright thanks. I'll probably aim for 75% and hope to for the best. Haha. He means 65% averAge meaning the average for all 4 subjects is to be 65% right? Oh, another thng that I'm not so sure about. Do they take the 65% for second semester or they include the average for both 1st sem and 2nd semester???

The average that the university counts is not per semester. They take the average of the entire course. at the end of your first year, you average is that of 1st sem + 2nd sem etc. |

QUOTE(happy_pink @ May 23 2010, 11:45 PM) Hard or easy is subjective to each person.your talking about scoring High Distinctions possibly in almost all your subjects to get such an average ^^" That requires really hard work and great effort to achieve such results something the average person don't really get unless constant hard work and study smart is put into the equation. |

Does anyone knows what's the requirement or marks or CGPA do I need to get a Honours degree for Engineering in Monash?
Do they actually look at the WAM or CGPA in awarding? And finally, do "First Class, Second class upper etc." differ from honours? Or first class=honours? Added on June 18, 2010, 8:58 am QUOTE(AceOfSpades @ Jun 4 2010, 11:25 AM) is there any course in monash tht offers a business twinning degree? i plan to do a few years here and a few years in monash uni in australia. What are the entry requirements? there's no 'twinnig' in Monash, as itself is a foreign full fledged campus. But you can transfer to monash australia when you want to.Thanks. the entry requirements differ from course to course, IINM ranges from 65%-75% of average marks, and a huge pile of cash. First class, second class upper etc. are the classification of the honours in which HI or First Class Honours is the highest while HIIB or more usually known as second class lower being the lower.Below that you just get a normal Bachelor Degree. You need a weight average of ≥ 75.00% for First class,≥ 70.00% for second class upper and ≥ 65.00% for second class lower. |
