Second year engineering student here.
I have 12 hours of lectures, 4 hours of tutorials and 9 hours of lab.
That makes it 25 hours per week for me

From what I heard, the business courses in Monash is good and extremely difficult.
The hours are short, we are talking about 13-15 hours per week.
( Compared to 20-25 for engineering courses)
But you need to study hard in order to pass the exam.
By the way, faculty of Business is also the BIGGEST faculty in Monash Sunway in terms of undergraduates.

You will do better in uni if you take a-level.

Well, you can always take the 11 months A-level course.
But you have to study hard, I only manage to score AAB.

You can choose to take A-level in less known college where the fees are way way cheaper.
I used to study in DISTED college in penang.
The total tuition fees for A-level was roughly RM12k, RM7k after scholarship.
But it's a 11 months program.

The entrance scholarship is in the form of a 20% reduction in fees.

I got the approval from the faculty but didn't go thru with it.
I am thinking of going over there for 2 semester in year 3 =D

I think you will still have to repeat year one or maybe you will be exempted from taking a few year one units.
I have a friend who did engineering in Taylor's but at the end, he came to Monash.
He repeated year one.
I think you should ask the first year coordinator for more information =D
If your score is close to the entry requirement, maybe you can ask Monash if they would accept you.

Well, you can't really study mathematics, can you?
Just do lots of practice.
Mathematics is really easy.
My friend scored 100 for it.

Well, it varies for every unit.
Some lecturers might send you an e-mail, post it outside their office, post it on K Drive or Blackboard.

Well, you can stay in Sun-U Residence(w air-con) or Sun-U Apartment(w/o air-con).
These two places are the official hostel for Sunway University and Monash University.
However, I heard that Monash's very own hostel,which is just beside the campus, will be ready by next semester.

A twin sharing room with air-con in Sun-U Residence is RM730/month per person.
I stayed there during year one and find it to be quite convenient.
A maid will come daily to collect rubbish and there's a washing machine in every unit.

I'm currently staying in Lagoon View, which is just beside Sun-U Residence.
A single room cost about RM750, bills and internet are not included.
It will come up to be RM850-RM900.
