The University has approved changes to legislation and regulations
governing assessment at Monash University. Under the revised legislation
and regulations, a new Assessment in Coursework Programs Policy has been
developed and will apply to all enrolments in units with a census date on
or after 15 February 2010.

Within the new assessment legislation and framework, the Near Pass Grade
(NP) is no longer available as an outcome for units completed (with final
or interim result) in teaching periods with a census date on or after 15
February 2010.

If you believe that you qualify, under the previous assessment legislation
and policy framework, to be awarded the NP grade for a unit you completed
(with final or interim result) in a teaching period with a census date
prior to 15 February 2010, you must apply in writing using the
'Application for a Near Pass (NP) transitional arrangement form' available
at http://www.monash.edu.au/exams/results.html

Application Deadline
You must lodge the form with your course managing faculty no later than 30
April 2010.
