QUOTE(Kernkraft400 @ Mar 19 2009, 06:41 PM) Wireless connection here. PSN downstairs. Router upstairs. 95% signal. And disconnected from games rarely, but still disconnected when im in a midst of competitive battles Free Service Charges... no need to complain Iam never disconnected from xbox live to be honest. I think its a matter of service provider of the live service as well. XBL is more consistent than PSN if you ask me. No intention of bringing console war here. if Xbox Live is like that sure it would be a same |

PSN is similar to what Xbox Live is providing. Online play, downloadable content, so on.
What is different about PSN is the part where you can play online for free. Xbox Live needs to pay. That card you showed is a 20 dollar card to purchase content provided by the Playstation Network Store. |

I see... seems that it's still alright for streamyx users at the current moment. Not bad at all.

Personally mine is not as bad as before. Talking about PSN here.
The connection actually depends on the game for me for some reason. I played Burnout online and had absolutely no lag problems at all, but then when I switched it over to FIFA09 (on the same day) it's so bad I can't even connect it to a game. Well, so far I've been playing KZ online and have met a few problems. Most of the time at the synching and joining parts, going into server isn't much of the problem. But if I manage to get in to the game it's relatively smooth. Obvious signs of lag sometimes but it's not too bad that it will affect gameplay. But yea, I think our local provider is the main blame here for our bad connections in online sometimes. I mean, come on! Sometimes even surfing the net and downloading stuff is at such a terrible speed! What more playing a game? |
