QUOTE(nixZorus @ May 9 2009, 02:40 PM) I am a student haha. Lol. Aih when is the TT? If its in July then confirm my attendance ler haha. Wha is the function of Electronic Distributor and normal one? Haha. My distributor looks old though. if u were on JB series engine u dont have distributor. u're were likely COP system. (coil on plug) something like kelisa engine though. |

QUOTE(nixZorus @ May 10 2009, 06:45 PM) Ah nope im not on JB series engine. Im on EF series though. COP system. But I cant differentiate between a normal distributor or a electronic distributor system though. electronic use skru on the cap while normal distributor use clips.and at coil@firewall there... normal one got like 2 extra white terminal. while electronic one already bypass the terminal. QUOTE(JasonB @ May 27 2009, 12:51 PM) post ur progress in here bro..Added on May 27, 2009, 9:17 pm QUOTE(nixZorus @ May 25 2009, 08:27 PM) This one ah? It can be in various form. Is a conversion of a normal 850cc engine 6 Valve to 12 Valve only I guess. I think this one is the fuel injection one. So maybe is the air intake manifold change to L2 intake manifold and ECUed and some using pure 12 valve Carburator. My twin brother is doing on this project half way I guess. He just wont let me know about it. the only way to have a confirmation on that engine is too look at the block itself it shud have "ED" letter stamping on the block. This post has been edited by detomaso: May 27 2009, 09:17 PM |

QUOTE(Monkey King @ Jun 3 2009, 11:34 AM) mind to ask where to find L5 pads nowdays? seems like quite rare, even spare part shop dont keep these anymore i can get it for yaRM80-90 for front RM100 for rear. Added on June 4, 2009, 4:56 am QUOTE(tommi88 @ Jun 3 2009, 12:54 PM) its small matter..we are sharing our knowledge and experience here...this is one of the objectives we open this club...anyway...if u can bare the sound coming from the engine, then u can go all the way up to 6400rpm...max rpm im not so sure...what im trying to say is that our car chasis is not meant withstand high speeds...besides...our kancil chasis is slightly weaker than ordinary mira from japan... EF block can go as high as 8k rpm !.This post has been edited by detomaso: Jun 4 2009, 04:56 AM |
