perodua SC are wayyyy too expensive...last time i changed my compressor which was about half a year ago cost me around 550 just for the compressor itself..its a brand new Sanden compressor...i personally think the original Denso unit is more cooling..and puts less stress on the engine...im not sure how much is one unit of the new Denso compressor cost..maybe you can ask around...ask throughly when the mechanics quote you...whether they include servicing your aircond system and gas refill...

haha...maybe i always put "Eco" thats why i dont feel really cold...but when turn it on to the max...memang sejuk giler...LOL!!!but its kinda heavy on the engine..so when the compressor kicks in...very hard to gain speed...

yeap...hopefully u can...with RM800 u get get a new compressor n pay for labour charges n gas refill as well...might even able to service ur aircond in the process...LOL!!!

i dont think so...most of us here drive the square lamp kancil...quite a number of them had their L5 dashboard conversion n engine conversion as well...

L5 dashboard is kinda expensive nowadays...=S

WOW!!!its been a long time since i have been posting...been quite busy recently...

1) regarding to your questions...what you mean by L200RS engine??u mean our stock 660cc engine on our kancil??
2) Grounding cables and voltage stablizer wont increase car power...it will just make ur car electrical stuff works smoothly...i myself using the Pivot Voltage Stabilizer..

if you are on budget,i suggest you that you dont start to mod your car...coz modifying will cost u alot easily...

god knows how long since my gear oil has changed...LOL!!!

but engine oil i change every 5,000km...im using Eneos Super Touring 10w-30...not bad though...previously i was using duckhams engine oil...

i bought mine at rm42 for 3 liter at a spare part shop...dont buy from Eneos car centre...its expensive there...just drop by any spare part shop n ask them quote u the price...its cheaper..=D

i think i wanna change my gear oil too...

that time when i wanna buy my engine oil,i asked the nice uncle at the shop whether Eneos or Castrol engine oil better...he said Eneos one better..Petronas should be ok i guess...but its quite expensive right???=S

my headlamps also turn yellowish ady...wanna find some aftermarket crystal headlamps but i seen alot of aftermarket crystal headlamps turn yellowish very fast too...

kelisa/kenari engine can be dropped into kancil...but i think the driveshaft everything have to use back kancil one...i dont think kelisa driveshaft can fit...gearbox as well...but then i saw a kancil dropped in myvi 1000cc DVVT engine as well as the gearbox into his car...so im not entirely sure about this though...need some kancil sifu to help here...hehe.....

kancil uses 10W30 engine oil...i recommend using Eneos Eco Touring Engine oil...very satisfied with this engine oil..rm44 for 250km is too little...rm44 should go around 300-320km...gear oil im not too sure but i think its 80W90 like you have mention...need some sifu's to verify this...spark plug code is W16EP-U / W16EX-U..this is from Denso website...

i recommend you to check on timing belt,aircond gas and change the fuel filter as well...and check whether idle timing during off/on aircond too...also check on whether the engines consumes alot of black oil...if it consumes black oil then its time for a total overhaul...

kancil can climb genting...provided that you are single driver...but if you are carrying 4 people in your car,your car will struggle to climb genting...

wow...mine 11 years old kancil already touched 229xxxkm on the odometer...full tank is around 280km++ and im using stock 12 inch steel rims...

ermmmm....to ensure better cooling,i suggest u replace your radiator coolant...and let your mechanic to check for any leakage in the cooling system...as long your cooling system its in good condition then i think you wont have water boiling problem...

changing to vitara condenser your aircond will be cooler...but u will have to sacrifice power as the condenser will require more power from engine hence increasing your fuel consumption...

L5 halfcut its around 3k for the auto one...thats for the L5 16v 4 cylinder twincam engine...if u want the single cam or twin cam 3 cylinder will be cheaper...plus replacing all the tear and wear parts on the engine and changing to bigger rims because the L5 rims will need at least a 13 inch rims for disc brake clearance...total its around 7k to be on the safe side...including JPJ endorsement...if u want to save couple of bucks more then u can do the JPJ endorsement yourself...

if u dun wanna sacrifice your power,then i suggest you change back to Sanden or Denso original kancil compressor...although not very cooling during the daytime but morning and night its like being in a 1.5hp aircond room...LOL!!im using Sanden compressor myself...L5 compressor is the same size as kancil compressor i think..and its plug and play..need some sifu to clarify this...=S

if your aircond is not cold enuf,maybe you can send it to your preferred aircond mechanic and let him check on the aircond gas..maybe your aircond is out of gas already...=D

L5 dashboard needs abit of modification to be fitted into our kancil...

hope this info helps...
