Think thats about it, will post up some pictures when they're done drilling my EJ block. Handed in 3 weeks ago and its still not done. Block molesters.

Owh yea, if you guys need a good mechanic with engine transplant gimme a HOLA! Done over 1xx kancil transplants and has like 1x years of experience in all the L series. Transplant takes 3 days. T&C Applies

Hi... I'm new here from Ipoh. I owned a kancil660 yr95.
I have a few questions regarding the engine type and the accessories.

1. It has a L200RS Daihatsu engine. Is it the original one? Does it has much difference comparing with the L2 or L2s?
2. Do i need the 5 point grounding cable and the voltage stabilizer to increase the car's power? If yes, what brand would you
    recommend?

I'm a noob in cars. I wanna increase my car's power but short in budget since im still a student. Therefore i think i'll pass on changing the engine. Please provide me any kind suggestions. Thanks.

my area cannot get eneos 10w-30....all spare part shop only got eneos 10w-40
how bout castrol m-tec 10w-30 and perodua 10w-30 by petronas?
nowday L2 alternator and fusebox how much ? (new / used)
change aftermarket crystal is better...cheaper than l2s cromax headlmp
to use the headlamp polish wax to polish the yellowish plastic headlmp...cheap lot
face same problem with my wiper...damn slow

kelisa engine can drop in kancil...saw few already
the size just same like l5,
labour charge depend on the workshop already
some time rather spend more bit money to find the foreman who expert in k-car



some ppl say this boost controller that boost control can install inside car
but the pipe too long will effect the boost, izzit?

my fren ( a gal ) bought a kancil 660 manual 2nd hand last year.

last week only i realized she never service her car.    

her kancil FC about RM44 = 250km.

is it sound a little over for a 660cc SLK?

i plan to assist her to service her car end of this month.

so my question is:

1.Kancil 660 Manual use wat engine oil?

2. Air filter and oil filter i can kao tim.

3.MTF i assume 80W90 normal grade will do?

4.Spark Plug what's the code ? i plan to upgrade NGK G-Power Platinum for her.

5.anything else that need to check?

I would like to ask can my 7~8 years Kancil 850 (Manual) able to climb up to Genting ?
I never mod my car and all is in stock...
my friend told me that old car will be having problem climbing up to genting
like overheating and
they keep asking "Your kancil can go ar ? O.o"

btw, 4 adult including driver will be in car when climbing...

any advice ? 

I used to drive a 660 manual kancil which I still have it at home but my mom drives is around and its almost 13 years old but haven't reached 200k km on the clock yet and it goes to P2 SC for regular maintenance with no engine mods or overhauls yet.

FC is around 280km+ per full tank and that also it because the kancil is using the kenari 13" wheels n tyres so there goes the FC. So yeah...if the kancil is stock...it should in theory touch the 300km mark depending on how heavy your foot is.

On the question of whether a 850 kancil can climb up Genting, my answer is yes. I've seen a 660 kancil climbing up Genting with 2 ppl @ reasonable speed haha but expect to press on the gas pedal a lot.

Isn't that worth for a student to install turbo into kancil?

it is depands on you can afford anot. i am also a student which planing to put my little kancil to L5, but abit costly.

if my little kancil want to change the compresser, which compresser you all prefer?

if my little kancil change L5 compresser, it will be cold? (because my little kancil in the afternoon is wind onli, but morning and night is cold)
and if l5 compresser, need any modify?

My kancil wanan put L5 dashboard, izit just direct fits in or need modify abit onli can fits in?
