I realised one flaw for sejarah marking is that.

1. THEY DO NOT MINUS MARKS FOR WRONG ANSWER.

Example
The question is only 1 MARK. Lets say they ask What happen to Rentap after james Brooke attacked him.
the Answer can be like this..
1. Rentap telah Dibunuh. Rentap telah dibicara. Rentap telah dibuang Negeri. Rentap telah digantung.

Assuming i wrote this in the answer...
Assuming Rentap telah dibunuh is correct.. THE Other answer they will read through, AND EVEN though its wrong, they WILL not put wrong and on the other HAND they give you 1 MARK because u have a correct answer there. Rentap Telah Dibunuh. Hence you score 1/1 Mark. At first i didnt believe this. I did this IN SPM 2008 and got A1 for it. At the essay part i didnt know what happen to Dato Patinggi after he diserang and it was a 5 marks question. I put Dato Patinggi telah ditangkap. Dato patinggi telah dibicara. Dato Patinggi telah dihukum. Dato Patinggi telah Dibunuh. Dato Patinggi telah dibuang negeri.

AND PLEASE REMEMBER DONT WRITE LIKE THIS Dato Patinggi telah ditangkap,dibunuh,dibicara. WRITE in different sentence.

It's nothing wrong that they did not minus marks for wrong answers.It's been like this for a long time.

A levels is like that and most of the subjects in my uni also like that.

well, for other subjects like bio, physics, chem, Once there is a wrong answer they minus ur marks. And for BM especially, if the question if 4 Marks and u wrote 5 answers, if u got 4 wrong answer u get 0.

i don't think A levels have the same system
my lecturer once said that if u put more than one answer (when ur not quite sure of the exact answer), even if one of ur answers is correct, but the others are wrong, u won't be awarded any marks.

Exactly, only for SEJARAH u can do that, and i didnt believe it UNTIL i tried it EVEN IN my SPM, I SAID U better be right u sejarah teacher... my whole paper was filled with answers Including rubbish answers...

I never write more than what they require as i never have that much time to crap something out.

Thats their sejarah system,nothing much you can.

Im just telling other SPM TAKERS THIS year so they can too abuse the system and get an A1 For it.

i knew that in my spm.. they ask for 3 tanaman baru.. i hantam 12 tanaman.

just try to use that to your advantage.

I knew about this when I was form 5..
lolz, so actually sejarah is very easy to get A1.

Just score at question that related to Islam part.

Wonder why, I didnt know whether I answer really well in Sejarah or not.But I really study hard during last minute & spam crap answers in my paper. Even the pages they provide in the booklet wasnt enough. I managed to get 1A for my sejarah in the real exam zzzz didnt expect it at all.. thought it would be a 4B or 5C. Well, thats what I get in my trials.

This is the way for Sejerah papers in SPM. Provided you have the time to hantam 5 sentences for 1 mark, it may not be that worth it if the answer is obvious and you know it.

But please don't do this for the Science papers. You will be marked wrong straightaway.

It's your teacher responsibility. Make teacher keep on remind us, don't leave blank, just hentam!

A few things to clarify.

1. Bear in mind that this doesn't work if you put "Rentap telah dibunuh" and "Rentap tidak dibunuh". If you have any 'opposite' answers you get zero marks because it is obvious that you are playing a guessing game.
2. This trick of spamming answers for every question doesn't really work for Science subject papers.

Yes, and don't put offensive words like "Rentap telah dirogol". There's a special penalty for it.

if like this, no wonder we have so many high scorer in SPM

Haha ya. Thats why i get credit for Sejarah in SPM, while i always failed it in my school exams.

It's not a flaw, just a way to let more students to score better for sejarah.
Our teachers and markers of sejarah paper told us about this.

Eg : Nyatakan negeri-negeri tidak bersekutu, you can list down all the 13 states and the marker will give marks to the correct answer but he won't deduct mark for the incorrect answers.
And for those questions which ask for sebab, proses etc, just write everything related, even not so related also write it down, because the marking scheme is very wide.

But, this is only work for sejarah.
This is the truth, not a rumour.

the approach of SPM is gaining marks, not subtracting them.

u give a correct answer, u get a mark. if u dont, it wont be subtracted. u just dont gain any points. if u dont answer and leave the answer empty, u wont gain any points. u start from zero, u gain until a maximum of 100%.

Nope, this doesn't apply to other subjects.
For science subjects like bio, chemistry and physics,
if the question asks for 2 answer only, we can only give 2 answers, 3rd answer will not be accepted and in some cases, our marks will be deducted.

i noticed it when my teacher asked us to mark our own model papers.....but when stpm i too panic cuz cant decide which question to do, cuz every question noe half oni, so i blank half of the 3rd essay questions.....den my fren say u shud hv put whatever thing u can think of...den oni i recall....crapz...get an A2 anyway, 8E during trial...giv teacher sepak 99

I did spam some nonsenses in Sej as I really didnt know the answer

I forgot chemistry marking scheme ..

but for phy...the essay there ...u can write as many as u could, even the 1st 10th answers u given are wrong, u still can get marks on the 11st answer if the 11st answer is correct....just among the answers there, it can't be conflicted to each other ..
for eg material Q is lighter than water, material Q can sink in water ...

in another words, u can fire as many bullets as u wanted, but u must fire in one direction only

I did the same thing for my chemistry,physics,bio and moral(3 answer if 2 marks)
my teacher told me that it would work and well, i'm not sure if it worked lol..

I got an average of A2/B3 in those subjects

Basically pls try this only for sejarah,
If u want to take the risk for others... Do it at ur own risk... I was just trying to help SPM 2009 people.

4 marks answer , i dont know the answer ... in the end i crap out 20 points ..

usually what i do in exams is....
write alot of answers for every question...don't care if the answer is correct or wrong...cuz you might forget everything when you're sitting for exam....
just let my teacher find the answers she want...

Can hit 2 marks already considered as jackpot. Make sure don't leave it blank that's all.

Haha, no man, your answers must not be conflicting.

But if you separete them in paragraphs, they will simply strike off the entire paragraph.

When I was form 4, the format was 2 points per fact - which was damn easy, throw 20 facts, market pick 5 right one.

Then when I was form 5, it was changed to 1 point per fact/example/ellaboration, a little hard

And yes, I tried before, one paragraph, on one fact, 2nd para on a totally diff fact

You can answer the same question few times, and the right one will be accepted, my ex tuition teacher who is a SPM marker told me, but of course conflicting fundamental errors will not be tolerated.

And did you guys know, if you write too much crap in the exam, for instance, those seditious one, or too political, they can actually charge you for it? My lecturer told me this, well it's pretty obvious.

Oh and a 'tips' in exam, to avoid racists marker, use fake name in exam.

If you put a chinese name, you risk getting a malay marker,
If you put a malay name, you risk getting a chinese marker, though its rarer

Play safe, put ang moh name, but you are in deep shiat if that marker hates ang moh.

Try not to write a letter in the karangan LOL

so the marker do not know the identity or race of student

lols..is sejarah that hard to study/score in exam? this is my favourite subject of all when i was in secondary school(now i start to feel that i'm very old already).

actually it's not nonsense. my teacher is a very old and experienced teacher teaching BM and she said a boy was arrested once very long ago, when the essay that he wrote is all bout praising the communist and insulting our police. But that was very long ago.
