my friend use Maxis number when he at malaysia, and now he went back to Egypt, so how can i contact him use the maxis his number?
anyone can tell me how to contact him?
*
Hi scorps, if he is using prepaid, then it would automatically auto-roaming when he is in Egypt. If he has no credit inside of his prepaid, he wont be able to make call or receive call too. You won't be able to call through as well. But SMS, yes can get through to his mobile.

If he is using postpaid, he need to go and activate with Maxis and place a deposit of RM300(not sure if there is any changes right now a not). If he didn't activate the global roaming, then obviously he won't be able to make/receive call & sms.

Hope all this information is clear. smile.gif

Sorry if I am a little outdated. Now can do it through menu *100# even already working? No more student but below 25?

I went to the menu, need to pay RM8, I am fine with that. And they are asking me about my status, college/uni or working. What should I answer?

Email them and they call my SG number. They ask me to go down to Maxis Centre and I said I do not have the time to go down as I am in SG. whistling.gif

They said during my registration, they key in wrongly to year 1982 in my IC, I ask them 'so? You photostat 2 times of my IC and still need me to go down to change again?'. She apologies and said will straight change directly from her system. Good thing for now, but I am thinking, if in future they can simply change customer information, it is quite dangerous huh? sweat.gif

Have you tried 0123?

You can't change your pin2, and telco won't provide you the PUK for pin2

You sure? Usually pin is 4 digit only.

when I key in *100*5*5# and send from my maxis postpaid line, it will then go to the menu where it will ask to enter the hotlink 10 digit number that I wish to top up too..
I'm just curious whether if I do such topup from my postpaid, will there be any service charges/etc for using such services.\ hmm.gif
*
Understand already. Topup to hotlink prepaid from your postpaid. You will be billed for that topup.

Yeah, if that's the case, there is no point reloading from postpaid then. Even online banking reload is foc.

maxis have to charge u from postpaid to prepaid because you can transfer 24 hours and anywhere...

if transfer from bank, ensure you have laptop with wifi ... or any 3G connection u wish to top up and save the 50 cent charges..
*
It just doesn't make sense IMO. From Maxis-Hotlink they are charging, if Maxis-Digi they charge then it would more be appropriate.

They just want to squeeze every single cents. laugh.gif

Hi, i have recently joined the Hotlink Youth Club, and i have bought 200 SMS for RM 1 from SMS SuperSavers.
The website says it is only valid from 6AM - 6PM. But i am sms-ing now (3:25pm) and it deducts from my credit, also, how do i check my remaining SMS? When i dial *100#, it only shows my credit.
*
Please call up CS to verify
