here to clear your confusion. Maxis is famous to create confusion for users so you end up paying more.

For normal function including calls, sms with data

For data only Its for use in modem, usb adapter or device like ipad. (WONT WORK ON THE PHONE)

Some users accidentally bought the prepad broadband and it doesnt work on their phone.

I think if u wanna use the Prepaid broadband, you need to change the internet settings a bit (APN change from unet to bbnet) , then only can access the internet.

Maybe you bought the newer one. Which is not limited edition.
The limited edition which have the hot ticket.
If im not mistaken. Correct me if im wrong.

Hot ticket is basiclly.
Is where you buy sms and talk time as a package.
Hot ticket can be find at any dealer which sell it.
I dont know if 7-eleven sell theme or not.

call 122 dont type *122#

Woo.... thanks for the tip man, Hotlink was driving me crazy for a while.

Yeah, handy tip for those with the "Lifetime" status, don't use the *122# menu, it won't show you your expiry date. Call 122, dial 1 and you'll get your ACTUAL expiry date.

I put in RM30 for Hotlink365, and was worried it wouldn't work with the new plan since I couldn't check the expiry before. Well apparently it does work smile.gif

Last time I subscribe the 1 year validty plan for my dad prepaid and now he's complaining why is it so exp to call. Is the new prepaid hotlink plan good? Does the expiration date like last time need to top up once a month?
