Got "upgraded" to this lifetime thing on my hotlink as well.

Man, this is the stupidest prepaid gimmick I've ever seen. Oh, it will still expire... but now WE JUST WON'T TELL YOU WHEN, NYA NYA!

Do you get any warning when the "lifetime" is close to expiring? I'm now worried I'll forget to top it up... and lose my number straight away.

Got a question for you guys.

I'm leaving the country for six months or so, and right now I'm using hotlink. I'm stuck with this stupid "lifetime" (aka 90 day) validity crap. I don't want to lose the number once it's over 90 days, it's unlikely I'll be able to top up my hotlink where I'm going.

So what are my options? Last time I left the country I used the Hotlink365, worked out quite well. It doesn't seem valid for this "lifetime" thing any more though.

Is it possible to "freeze" my hotlink account or something?

Woo.... thanks for the tip man, Hotlink was driving me crazy for a while.

Yeah, handy tip for those with the "Lifetime" status, don't use the *122# menu, it won't show you your expiry date. Call 122, dial 1 and you'll get your ACTUAL expiry date.

I put in RM30 for Hotlink365, and was worried it wouldn't work with the new plan since I couldn't check the expiry before. Well apparently it does work smile.gif
