Without sounding like a sore loser, did Ferguson underestimate Liverpool today? I understood Carrick-Anderson but to have Tevez over Berbatov? Why? And, and Fletcher? sad.gif

I wanted a 4-5-1 (Fletcher-Anderson-Carrick) (Rooney-Berbatov-Ronaldo)

sad.gif

Yeah what happen to Fletcher? He normally start big matches.

Am I the only one who think the substitutions are too late? I think Tevez was chosen as he has the pace and Berba has some injury problem prior to Inter game.

Again I believe this is a very good wake up call to the lads.

Remember that we last lost 3 months ago to Arsenal... and what happened next?

Sometimes we need a good kick in the a$$ to remind ourselves what it is like to lose and to not perform 100%. If we keep on winning all the time, when will we learn and remember right? This is like the first time since god knows when, that we lost badly at Old Trafford. Of all places... and some more of all players, it was Vidic (our best player all season) to be the culprit.

I do believe that it was more of the team not playing well... So this should remind them and also for Sir Alex to give a good walloping to the players in the changing room... We've been in this sh!t many times.. remember Man City 3-1 defeated us in 2002-2003 season?

Funny also to see that some of my liverpool supporting mates were starting to dare taunt me.. before this, they were mostly quiet. But then not all of them are idiots.. so let them have their day today. Hihi.. At least we are still top of the league and could afford to lose this and still smile. Remember who wins the league at the final day of the league matters..

There was something the commentators mentioned.. about what it meant for us to lose..and what it meant for liverpool to win..
for us.. NOTHING.. doesnt anything at all happy.gif
for liverpool.. EVERYTHING.. it'll definitely give them an awesome boost.
I wonder if our boys did go into the game like that?!
Can't be the case.. our greatest rivals after all! sweat.gif

I thought Tevez would have done this match good actually. But guess it wasn't so!
Haih!

The commentators knows shit. Look at Fergie's face! It meant something, alright!

Though I think this win shows Liverpool a quality side on their day (which happens 10 games out of 50), the title race is still over for them.

And positives:

- No injury
- A loss against Liverpool = unbeaten run? biggrin.gif Take Arsenal
- Evans gets games rclxm9.gif
- No slag for Johnathan SchIrwPallNevKeaCanO' Shea.
- Liverpool draws the next game is a definite!
- United fans can shut up about the quintuple and not have us flamed for being arrogant because not every United fan thinks we can achieve it!!!!

hmm, i don't think so, this is SAF's character, normally sub only around 65-75 minutes..unlike mourinho, he would normally sub them at halftime

i believe SAf has his own reason, because sub at 65-75 = fresh legs vs tired legs...but, sub earlier might had made more impact...

I think you're right with the Tevez over Berbatov decision.

But I think this was a game that we were going to lose the moment Vidic had an off-day. Sir Alex was never gonna take him off (it'd show a lack of faith and we know the gaffer, he TRUSTS his players! [both good and bad thing depending on situations]) but if Evans came on for Vidic? Just maybe...maybe.....sigh.

The Torres-in-pocket joke has to go to the cold freezer and NEVER be taken out again.

yeah smile.gif it's definitely off day for vidic... the 2nd goal definitely change the game and the confident in Vidic suddenly drop to near Zero.. look nervous, look anxious when Torres behind of him sweat.gif

kudos to Torres, he's indeed the TORMENTOR for defender sweat.gif
