Bulgaria's Berbatov blow

QUOTE
Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov has been ruled out of Bulgaria's forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ireland and Cyprus through injury.

The 28-year-old national team captain suffered an ankle injury in United's shock 2-0 defeat against Fulham on Saturday and will now miss the trip to Dublin on March 28 and the home tie against the Cypriots that follows.

His injury comes as a blow to Bulgaria coach Stanimir Stoilov's hopes, with Manchester City's Martin Petrov and Leicester City's Alexandar Tunchev already laid low by injuries.

Bulgarian national team doctor Mihail Iliev said: "There's no chance Berbatov of playing against Ireland and Cyprus.

"I've talked to Manchester United's medical staff and they informed me that he'll need to rest in the next two weeks and his foot will be immovable during that period."

Credit to Fulham for the win but personally i don't think they were the best team last night. Why? In the 2nd half, they were playing against 10 men Man Utd. But we looked like we were playing with 12 men against them. If only we could play like we played in the 2nd half last night in every game.. I mean, Ronaldo rarely i seen him diving he created multiple chances and shots on target. Fletcher, Giggs PJS and Rooney and the rest were great as well.

that's what happen if we push too much men forward for the equaliser, there's a time there's only 1 defender - Evra is there. The rest was all after the half way line. They were eyeing on that counter attack oppurtunity, and unfortunately they did had 1 and capitalised on it. That proves to be the decisive goal and send shock to our system. Clearly Rooney was frustrated as well hence the rash throw back of the ball. Personally i think he deserve in for reacting that way. People might argue he send the ball back but I don't think so he did or else he won't throw it that hard considering the short distance. But that doesn't mean I agree he was aiming for the referee, it was some distance away from him.

Didn't watch the game yesterday as I was at sunburst. As I was busy bobbing around to Korn friend sent a message stating the score and was bloody devastating. But as Giggsy said it, it's still in our hands.

Bad result, the only plus point is I managed to fulfill a dream I had since I was 14 which was to watch Korn live.

Damn. Why nobody told me Korn will be coming to Malaysia? Being a fan of them for 10 years. Their first album and Follow the leader are the best.

Sorry for the off topic.
