so is there any problem with this? overclocked of 8400..meaning still 8400M? then will die after 1 year, juz like my vostro 1400?
is the 3D mark good enough for L4D, COD4?

haha, it was juz a comapraison in terms of spec... dun worry, it wouldn't ka-boom like 8400M GS...

this card is ok for games, probably low detail...

but after 1 yr, dun expect too much from it...

cuz it's a pretty old low end card...

i suggest maybe u look for Radeon HD 4570, if u want some light game... Asus F6 series ve that...

if u want a balance between graphic performance and battery life, give BenA S42 a consideration... 14" with GeForce 9600M GT + GMA 4500MHD... afaik, when using 9600M GT, 3D Mark 06 is >5k, and when using GMA, battery life can last abt 4.5hr...

1. Brand. my heart stays with ASUS & Toshiba. looking thru some LENOVO models as well.

2. Budget. below 4k

3. Specs. centrino duo p8400-8600, a decent graphic card (i'm not a hardcore gamer, but i do play some games or on9 from time to time.)
hoping to try out DDR3

4. Size. min 13' .... 14'.. max considering 15'

currently looking at F6, F8, N50V, F81
toshiba m300 with similar specs is kinda out of budget T_T
looking at a few lenovo models as well. kinda like the design...
but lenovo have less models to choose from..

some 15' laptops i mention really have nice specs. n value for money.
i was hoping some of the users using 15' laptops give some insights bout their experience. its kinda... TOO big.. to carry around sad.gif
i sometimes do carry around my laptop out to coffee shops or shoping.
but those specs n price really nice

laptop built & quality is one of my priority as well.
so is the warranty & service. smile.gif

if only Dota, then 9300M GS is more than enuf...
