ORIGINALBOOTCAMP's CORPSTRAINING is the program that started the boot camp fitness revolution here in Australia.

Since its inception in 1991, it has become Australia's most imitated fitness system, yet no other company has been able to replicate the results, or overall experience provided by this innovative program.

Now it’s Malaysia’s turn to experience the fitness revolution that’s taking the world by storm.

Original Bootcamp will be commencing very soon in Malaysia, We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to participate in our trial week absolutely free with Original Bootcamp on the 23rd of March. Log on to www.bootcamp.com.my for more details.

I dare to take this challenge, because I've already been koyak-ed many times in gym. Like doing cardio for 1 hour, then bodycombat for 1 hour, then machines. So I wanna see this bootcamp punya difficulty level how koyak can it be.

I'm ready to kena bruises, cuts or whatever shit. Like I'm scare. laugh.gif flex.gif

But 5:45am <--- Freaking early sial. I need to wake up 4am, to have light breakfast, kasi digest, wash up then get ready. I only need 15 mins to reach there using kesas, no jam lare. tongue.gif

3 days koyak. Mon, Wed, Fri. Tue and Thur, ayam going to gym for workout. No need to rest lare. tongue.gif

To those who go, all the best and I expect full disclosure on what transpired during those trials. tongue.gif

Apparently the training starts at 5:45am, ends at 6:45am. Only 1 hour.

Guess I won't feel the koyak orgasm much.

I guess they make it early in the morning, so that people are able to join. Still got enough time to shower, breakfast then head to work. laugh.gif

Hi All!

I live in Australia and I have been doing this Bootcamp since 2007! Honestly... it's like Nothing else you have tried before!!! If you're lucky enough to get to trial it for the week, DO IT!!!

Oh, I'm so glad now that there will be a bootcamp in KL too because when I come to KL for work now, I can continue with my bootcamp instead of missing out! (I come a few times a year)

Jamis... it's not like the biggest loser... it's WAY more fun!
Zeist.. You're absolutely right, it's that time of the morning so you can still go about your day just like normal!
Yeah_guyz, don't worry about needing leave for work... (unless you actually work before 7am! hehe) It's the best start to your working day and gets the exercise out of the way before 7am!!
Before I used to do bootcamp, I used to wake up and go to work and it would still take me an hour AT WORK to actually wake up! hahaha Now.. by the very early hours of the morning, I'm wide awake and I've actually had a lot more energy throughout the day and been more productive at work too!

I've lost heaps of weight doing bootcamp and I've also gained a fair bit of muscle, then again I'm a female... the Males that I work out with at bootcamp have such great toned bodies! probably because it offers a great mix of cardio and strength!

When I first started I was in the bottom fitness group... but now I'm in the top group so no matter your fitness level to start with, you will fit in somewhere and feel absolutely comfortable!

Good luck to all of you that are gonna give it a go!!

Hopefully I'll meet some of you out there the next time I'm in KL for work!!

Bye!!

Hello KL,

Looking forward to meeting everyone that attends the trial sessions. I will be your instructor for those sessions, if you have any relevant questions, fire them my way?

Just remember, these sessions are a trial only, we have limited time to show you guys what we do with minimal equipment, as we are coming over from Adelaide, South Australia. However, you will experience some hard work, fun and make new friends. Original Bootcamp is very addictive, and guarentees results.

Looking forward to meeting you bright & early on the 23rd!

Rob Coad.

Hi Satsugai

The twice a week program are priced at 119AUD you will have to look at it this way; when you join Original Bootcamp is like having a personal trainer by your side. Motivation is key to achieving great result and the cost of having a personal trainer in Australia for twice a week for 4 weeks = 50AUD per one hour session X 8 which is 400AUD and plus the added cost of joining a gym.
When you join Original Bootcamp, motivation will never be a problem as you will have plenty of it training in a small team environment as everyone is trying to achieve a common goal

This sounds bloody interesting. I'm sure many H&F-ers will register for it. When is the deadline for registration, and is there a limit to the number of participants? Is there an age limit?

Also, what sort of exercises will the participants be subjected to? Having a rough idea would help in deciding. Thanks!

So, is there an age limit? And if so what's the range of the age? Will it be okay for a man in his 50's to participate? His only form of exercise is badminton once a week.

What about people who are asthmatic?

ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Corps Training (pronouced CORE Training) standard course runs for 4 weeks, 3 times per week. Each session will go for 1 hour. On the 23rd March we will be only having 3 sessions as a FREE trial. Mon, Wed, Fri. Will be limited spots, which will fill up fast, so check out bootcamp.com.my

Courses normally commence at the start of each month and the next course after that will start again from the following month and so on...

Total of 12 courses per year.

Age limits; Must be 16 years minimum with parents or guardian consent or 18 years to no limit. However if you are over 45 with no or limited conditioning, you will need to get a doctors clearance. Not sure what the eldest recruit has been with Original Bootcamp Australia, but my programs in Adelaide have had a man age 61 and a lady 58 and 59.

Pictures; There are a couple on the website. Otherwise go to our FACE BOOK, you can join our group if you like. Search for ROB COAD or Original Bootcamp Adelaide CBD, Henley Beach, Golden Grove. More pics there!

RC.

just got back from the last trial session.. very sad to see it stop (for now).. sad.gif who knew that pushing yourself till the limits of vomiting could be this fun?

i think the whole group really had a good time, torturous when we were doing it, but at the end we all were soaked in sweat and dirt from the exercises..

i really recommend ppl to join this if they want to get fit man!

btw, i think this should be in fitness and not bodybuilding / strength training? its more of fat burning + cardiovascular and its REAL damn good at doing that job!

im thinking, when it does come, ill cycle 2/3 months weights and 1 month bootcamp just to lose BF.. man, i went for 1 week and i already feel leaner and definitely loss weight, though i think i lost a bit of muscle weight doing those as well.. :/

bootcamp is more then that, its kinda like crossfit, so you do gain functional strength but the strength gains wont be as significant and takes a longer time to develop compared to lifting weights
nevertheless, i find that it is a good program for when you need to layoff the weights (aching joints or not making progress on your max poundages, fat loss etc etc)

Muscle loss doesn't occur that fast if you eat right, could be water weight

Seals! Hooyah!

Btw, i thought so many ppl in this forum were so enthusiastic about this? didn't see much ppl turn up
I guess not everyone can get up at 5 lol

yeah, probably water weights.. was thinking i was losing muscles because i havent hit the gym in 1 week though cuz of this program.. must be the psychological inner voice telling me to pump iron..

Haha I might consider paying for a month if it comes next time. Right now I'm still under gym one-year contract, if skip one month feel damn wasted la... The contract ends in June so maybe only after that I'll consider signing up for this bootcamp. It really does look fun, and it would be a healthy break from BB-ing too. It seems like its goals are more towards general strength and fat-loss, which I don't need, but don't mind having. Just don't burn me muscles! biggrin.gif

Zomg...I've stopped powerlifting ahhhhh....I know some people in there, and no it wasn't the guy that "melencong" the whole pack at the beginning and then at the end, the feller keep quiet at the back while some three or four jokers were screaming at the top of the lungs.

So cute la you. Haha~

Bootcamp trials are back again. This time, it will be held in 2 locations, PJ and KL. PJ trials are on 7th, 9th and 11th, whereas KL trials are on 6th, 8th and 10th. In July, of course.

I'm not sure if they still have empty slots. But anyway, the official launch will be after the trials. RM349 per month is quite costly though... RM199 if you have previously subscribed to their mailing list.

I'll be going for the PJ free trials btw.

For more info, check out their website at www.bootcamp.com.my

It would help if TS or one of the mods edit the first post to include the new free trials.

Also, it might be a better idea to move this back to H&F in general, since this is definitely not BB-ing and may not necessarily be strength training, depending on the differing trainee's point of view. H&F general section would also bring in more views, and the more potato couches who gets interested in this, the better.

And, I'm not Bootcamp's promoter.
