hi,

long time no post d.. haha

anyway, there r stuff i need to ask regarding gps

1. my garmin hangs when i connect gps through serial pgs. but works fine with intermediate driver. why?

2. while i was in middle of the jungle, i tried to obtain my coordinates with my omnia, but im unable to do so. why?
as we know, in da jungle no phone line 1 lo... does tis mean tat gps lock need network coverage? or i relli dam unlucky tat time?
*
1. I'm not pretty sure with your case.. But do you have other GPS software installed as well other than garmin? In my case, garmin and even the phone freeze after I played around the port..probably it interfere with mapking port..so better stick to default garmin chosen port

2. Emm..are you in a one thick jungle, covered with big leaves canopy on top of you? then it will give the same effect like you are in building la..no gps signal

Though, with current IA5, my omnia can locked GPS even inside building though it is only 2D within a minute or two..mind you that A-GPS not on

Ah..as expected..thanks a million though for trying.. notworthy.gif
To prevent the nuisance of installing everything again, I guess I'll wait for the next official ROM..kill two birds in one shot..

I can live with the current phonebook..but need a microscope to see the numbers  ohmy.gif
Hi mmmbop,

Can we try one more time. Just one more last try, if you have the time.
I promise, if this also fail, I'll give up.

copy the .CAB file to your phone/storage card/internal media and install from file explorer
or

Yes, it is reuseable.
Peel it off slowly and wash it with soap. Then put it back on your device again and let it dry.

that is the most disappointed part for IS, I use it before on my previous white color X01HT, when it start stick in duct, it will become ugly, and slowly lost it sticky. then it will siaplaced from original site untill the sticky thing all peel off then the IS consider a useless already.

Personal opinion is not suggest attach IS, because it easy peel off with such high price.

Added on May 25, 2009, 11:56 pmBTW, currently I am using SOFT JACKET that buy from seller in LYN. queit nice, because it was harder than silicone case, and best thing is, it was not sticky like silicone case. really nice, hold my Omnia now like those iphone user.

I did removed once from my Innov8, washed it with Mama Lemon and put it back. That was 2 months ago and until now it's still very firm on the device. nod.gif

Use tap water boleh juga.

Furthermore, if your IS is ever damaged, claim it from them. It has Lifetime Replacement Warranty lho.
