It's just the excel sheet app. We may need to wait for quickword which will be available soon n quickoffice has been out for awhile.

The obvious difference between the iPhone and the iPod touch is that you can make phone calls with the iPhone - but when you study the new iPod touch you will see that there’s quite many things that are missing.

The iPod touch is missing:
- Edge
- Mail application
- Safari link sharing
- Adding items to calendar
- Notes
- Bluetooth
- External volume buttons
- Built-in speakers
- Camera
- Maps, Weather, Stocks
And the iPod back piece is more sensitive for scratches plus the screen is less vivid.

The iPod touch is missing:
- Edge --> Sure becoz it's not a phone
- Mail application --> i thought there's already email app for ipod touch
- Safari link sharing --> what is this?
- Adding items to calendar --> there's already calendar in ipod touch. what does it mean cannot add items?
- Notes --> already have
- Bluetooth --> hmm...will be good if have
- External volume buttons --> already have.
- Built-in speakers --> already have
- Camera --> i dont need it
- Maps, Weather, Stocks --> already have
And the iPod back piece is more sensitive for scratches plus the screen is less vivid. --> agree

Actually try to find reason here why should i buy iphone instead of ipod touch.

My bad. I guess i need to update meself on the iPod Touch much more as i gotten those infos(iPod Touch 1st genaration) from a website which are not updated. Indeed sorry for the wrong info mate.

My take will be if you need a phone and have all the applications available to you on the go, songs and videos, iPhone would be the choice as you get everything in one phone.

If you're into games, songs and videos, iPod Touch would be good and is currently much cheaper than the iPhone. Then only thing is you may need carry your current phone and iPod Touch with you.

I'll leave it to the iPod touch sifus to give you more infos.

Cheers

If you have a phone already, then just settle for an iPod Touch. I aimed for the iPhone, but i already have an SE phone, and yea, the iPhone is a little bit more pricey so i settled off with an iPod Touch instead. It's just as good, except for some features that it lacks if compared to an iPhone. Overall, it's plain awesome. biggrin.gif

For those who still want to argue over iPod touch versus iPhone, just move along and don't waste your time listing what's not on the device instead of the other. The name of both devices say it all, you buy an iPod for music or media player device. You buy the iPhone for the phone and internet capabilities.

Not like you're going to buy an iPod touch an make it a mobile phone, perhaps now is different as Skype application has come to shore for both platform devices. You can only make VOIP via WiFi with the iPod touch and Skype installed and use the Apple's built in microphone headset which cause RM129. Hope that helps, but not with calling land line numbers with your iPod touch.
