hmm,seems to be missing..maybe overwritten by another post..anyway here it is..its not released yet..i think the Viper pack is meant for 2010 release .i suppose so is the BATS pack.

Strange that US only release both Snarler and Mantis later than here.

Damn I want the SNAKE armour, hope to have 2 or 3

But is it my imagination or the black bat's backpack...has a different...attachment shown in the background?

i really want VIpers with removable helmet,and was hoping all 5 has that feature but only Mercer gets that treatment..yeah,Reaper seems that the BAT officer does come with a different atachment.

I am solely dissapointed...a lot of fans wanted a viper with removable helms. I'm hoping that they would churn out SAW Viper, HEAT Viper, Frag Viper, Night Viper (sure we get the Pursuit of Cobra version, but i would like the 25th version), Big Boa, Toxo Viper v1...oh the list goes on...

Hey, i thought i was the only one who thought that US came late with the Mantis craft...i was kinda weirded out by that

when the second GI Joe and Cobra 5 pack came out this year,Malaysia got it much earlier than many of US states..they only got it 2-3 weeks after i got mine.

so its good that sometimes Hasbro Malaysia do distribute some stuffs to toy shops earlier than the States.

Reaper,i would definitely grab SAW and Toxo if they do come out..memories of younger days.
the issue which featured SAW Viper the maniac offing several top Joe operatives was truly shocking..
and then,few issue later,the whole BF 2000 also got decimated.not forgetting Sneak-Peek's death in the same issue.

oh ,as for Mercer,the HS is from Hawk..kinda lame from Hasbro.

That infamous SAW Viper is the best, when i read that issue, i simply can't believe that he actually offed several Joe characters just like that! Pretty awesome, when i was a kid, i always wanted to get that SAW viper, but didn't since my parents didn't let me, damn shame

And damn shame that Cobra turned him into Overkill, the cyborg, then get shot and left behind in the desert. We never get to see him again after all that

I love the v1 Toxo viper, looks awesome with the helm and gears, never liked the v2 version, although Sludge viper is okay for me.

Toxo is pretty awesome...removable helmet ,backpack and cool looking gun.i think mine is still at my hometown,somewhere..heh.

i agree V2 Toxo kinda sux..remember Eco Warriors?Cesspool was the only one i got since he has cool armor...i think each Eco has some kinda of gimmick when placed in fridge,rite?i dont quite remember.

darkshadow: Lol, i remembered the gimmick for the Eco warriors! Water! Splash water on the figures and they change colours! The ice effect is the Ninja warriors set, wow, wish i got at least 1 of them

There were a few gimmicks for the vintage Joe lines, like kung fu action for the Ninja set, the Bio warriors comes with the plasti dough to make em battle damaged on their armors, there were also a set (can't remember the name) where each figure comes with a battery powered backpack with a few sound effects

Reaper,yeah i remember those sound effect gimmick..didnt get them coz the pricing per figure was over rm10 by that time.as a teen,that was just over my budget.

any new arrivals at TRU these few days,guys?

I feel like giving a different colour for Volcano viper, which will come with the lava pod.

I want to give them a colour scheme from Red Alert 2 or Red Alert 3 Desolator, the unit that spew toxic waste on enemies.

As for updates at TRU, so far the brought in the 12" figures. Got Duke, Cobra Commander, Ripcord and Neo Viper.

sweet...need one more Flash and Eel plus as many Pit Commando i can lay my hands on..will check it out asap.

Mid valley is Carrefour, this is what I hate about Hasbro's distribution here as you get dribs and drabs of the new waves all over the place which makes it a pain to find figures.
