I don't agree with you .The gap between the release of one wave to another wave may take a little longer but you get to save some moolah or in my case ,some serious moolah .
If you want frequent arrivals ,then collecting TF is the answer .

On a side note, for you AV collectors ,one local seller is listing it on evilbay for a bidding price of RM55 .Or you can opt to Buy It Now at RM60. And the seller mentioned there'll be more AV in stock .Also listed was POC Firefly .

As for myself ,I have some AVs coming soon .
IMO,RM55 is just wayyy overpriced for one figure .Well ,i dont mind paying for rare 25th Anni figures back in 2008, but not for the POC AV.

Indeed, the lull is good for reloading. Apart from this, quite frustrating.

I do collect TFs too, and HW and Macross and a little bit of SW... But maybe because Joes are so 'rare', a haul always pleases me! Especially those that you 'ter-serempak' at malls!

Yeah i know the feeling .Coming across a toy that you dont expect to find ,but hoping to find is always satisfactory .

what is a reasonable price? IMO RM40 per figure is just ripping us off..
so envy US collectors get to buy at TRU $10 for 2 figures, or the $10 mech.

by the way, how many version of crimson guards? (excluding the desert 7 pack)
can you post one picture of the crimson guard beside alley viper? wanted buy a couple to accompany my alley vipers. just to make sure the colour matches with each other.

Seems to me that you are troop building a crimson army .

To me ,the reasonable price is in the range of RM20 - RM23 ,as evidenced in the pricing of 25th Anni single carded figs .The ROC movie is partly to blame for the huge price increment .

For Crimson Guards / CGs ,there are a total of 14 versions beginning from ARAH .
I only have the 25th versions (single carded non removable helmet, comic pack version with removable helmet, single carded Python Patrol and the Hall Of Heroes version) and I believe that's the one you are referring to .

I love both versions which differs only in terms of paint scheme and the inclusion of longer peg on the backpack for

I dont really mind the non-removable helmet, and i believe the one with removable helmet came with a ww2 styled rifle instead of the assault rifle with bayonet?
also the revolver really cannot fit into the holder? mine from the desert environment pack fits quite well.

also there are the TRU 3 pack, with 2 crimson guards and one Cobra Commander, and the 5 pack army builder, some with silver face, some black face etc.

by the way, I am building a crimson army like what you said, target completion date Jan 2011. planning to get 2 more Deviant as well.

do you happen to have the crimson dynamo from Iron Man? if yes, can you show some pictures of it next to the red BAT?
planning to get get a couple of those to fit into my Cobra Universe.

You're rite .The removable ,comic pack version comes with a vintage rifle and revolver .I can't imagine why those sophisticated ,well educated CGs would arm themselves with those weapons .
I do have issue with the holster as the revolver tends to drop easily .El' cheapo Hasblow shoulda included proper holster.

As for the SRO 3 packs and the TRU troop builder sets ,I believe they weren't available in Malaysia.

I also picked up these cabling wall hooks for TV cords which functions really nicely as a wall hook for my MOC Gi Joes

Only RM4.90 for ten, being displayed along the Atria Giant's corridor, nearer to the Giant entrance.

If Cobra Deviant is the mecha that came out recently, I think it was going for around RM 65 in my area.

I went there today but they are closed. weird they closed on Sunday when it is the day parents bring their kids to shop.

Well, a hundred is rather large for that purpose .It' more suitable to being a regular army .
An ambitious goal I must say ,to collect just crimson themed troopers within such a short span of time.
Nonetheless ,I am excited to see your army .The sight of a collection of troopers is always pleasing to me.

The Resolute BAT represents a deadly ,menacing version than the regular ones .
I owned only 5 of them .Wanted to get more but have to buy the whole boxset and I wasn't keen on owning more CCs and the Red Troopers .
