Well, the thing is, from my point of view is that the majority of those selling on ebay Malaysia the current joe stuff tend to be people who just pick the stuff up specifically for resale on Ebay, thus depriving actual people of buying the stuff they want, it's a big difference when you sell stuff that came out a year ago or longer or even never showed up in Malaysia, unfortunately, particularly in the Klang valley, there are ppl whose sole purpose is to check out TRUs etc, take the hot stuff purely to immediately sell it on Ebay for a higher mark up which is why I'm against buying any current available stuff there as it tends to encourage these types of ppl. Personally as a collector, if I bought something locally in the last six months or so and unless it is a chase/convention exclusive figure and suddenly decided I didn't want it, I'ed resell at the retail price or less. Anything else somewhat appears to me to indicate a scalper.

Say no to scalpers biggrin.gif My opinion is that if you buy from them, means u r paying for their 'service' to take the toys off the shelf for u!

Understand that when they sell they don't just target Malaysia market, in fact they don't really care about local market (other than some shops). rm45.90 for a figure is merely usd15, retail is usd9.90 which is not big difference. Convert to Pound or Euro makes it less prominent.

If you check US ebay there are many US seller selling available in stores figures at more expensive price.

If the distributor brought in more stocks, the scalper can scalp but we still can easily find the figures we want in stores.

My upcoming project is gonna be that World Peacekeeper's Combat tank, in desert camo. Probably only by next month i'll start my project

Tried checking on that M2 Bradley tank 1/18 scale, 25th figs are too tall to fit properly on that tank. Luckily i didn't buy it.

Camo's really tricky to do.

BTW i got the resolute 5 piece pack, was hesitating for 20mins the B.A.T paint job is really superb compared to the 25th B.A.T. rm114.90 don't know it's cheap or normal...

I don't really like the Duke anybody need another dead body?

Hi all smile.gif

I finally gotten my hands on the Toys R Us exclusive's 25th Anniversary Snake Eyes vs the Red Ninja Troopers pack.

The Red Ninjas comes with a katana, wakizashi, a dagger, a bow, a harness with sword sheaths and a quiver, plus a mancatcher weapon for each of the ninjas. The Red Ninja Leader however, comes with a bit of different accessories, he has the same swords but doesn't have the mancatcher and a bow, but are replaced with the crossbow intead. He also comes with a rope hardness instead of the belt, to hold his sword sheaths and bow.

I noticed the problem immediately that all the red ninjas' right hands can't grip the swords firmly as its a bit widen up but can hold the bow or crossbow firmly. His left hand has no problems holding either swords or dagger.

I'm quite sastisfied with the red ninjas smile.gif

This is the same Snake Eyes as comic version 1 Snake Eyes except with the horrible paint job of dark blue for upper body and lime green pants. He still carries his combat knife and uzi, plus a katana with no sword sheath to put into. His sword, upon closer inspection, i thought its the same as the Ninja Vipers or that half naked Storm Shadow comic pack, but its isn't. The end hilt of the sword doesn't come with the dragon scuplt, so there's something different there.

Edit: The belt and the harness is new too, but poorly done. I assume they're trying to imitate Snake Eyes version 2's belt/harness accessory.

darkshadow: Thanks for the compliment, means a lot to me biggrin.gif

Wow, i think it's about RM 180 for them, so it'll be RM 36 per fig, a bit pricier than the normal RoC fig price, but then again, i never had any red ninjas in my collection before, so i don't mind the extra charge there smile.gif

Yeah, i'm looking forward for the RoC's SS and SE's dojo trainning diorama for the ninjas biggrin.gif

I'm trying to get the Cobra Defense Island pack too (provided its reasonably priced)

you're welcome. smile.gif
RM36 is still a reasonable price to pay per figure.at least you are also getting R. Ninja Leader.
the training dojo boasts a large number of weapons ,most of them repeated .i dont mind buying one for the dio itself.

you plan to get Defense island Pack from online?

it's true there are more SW collectors than Joes hence TRU will keep stocking up its shelves with new SW toys.

btw,is Avatar toys selling at any dept stores or TRU?
the AMP Suit looks pretty awesome and can fit GI Joe figs ,well certain less bulky ones anyway.
