![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Man, i only wish that Sideshow's stuff could be a little bit more affordable for me...so much awesomeness seeing Firefly in this form Fatimus: So far, how many Sideshow Cobra figures you've collected? Oh, is the cobra trooper you had, can his mask be removed? I'm guessing you can't, right? |

QUOTE(laowai @ Nov 24 2009, 03:26 PM) Talking about military stuff, anyone got this stuff ? Looks good and so much more bigger and affordable. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « was wondering guys, it seems to me that these are not in scale with the 25th anny line, or have i gotten it wrong? cos i bought the incredible hulk humvee from the hulk movie toyline and my joes dont fit in it well. its a very tight fit and doesnt look natural... so, id like to find out from u guys wether the humvees from this toyline can fit a 25th anny joe, cos if can, id get a few and build up my motorcade:) and i dont mind the colour too, cos ill be repainting it anyways... lastly,. the blackhawk's tail looks a bit short...or is it just my untrained eyes? |

The Sideshow 12" gijoe line is very tempting indeed. If they continue with the whole range of characters, it'd be a trying challenge to the banks of fans. Anyone got pics of the 12" figures released so far, on display? Curious how awesome they look together. |

polis: You have to check carefully on those toys, and yes, there are some brands that can't fit your 25th anniversary figs. Like the true heroes brand as shown in the TRU images (taken by laowai), the figures are smaller compared to the 25th anniversary ones. You might as well check out the other brands as i mentioned before in my previous posts.

Fatimus: Well, i read from the hisstank forum members' comments, it seems they preffered a more "vintage" look, rather than the "modernized" version. Basically, they're nitpicking. Not all of them hated it, it's a love and hate relationship. Too me, it's still awesome looking. I'm not a total purist, as long that the base of the look is there and still is recognizable as the character itself, then i have no problem.
polis: Could you post some pictures with the jeep and some 25th anniversary figs so we can review it? crazyconsumer: It's so sweet to see the cobra troopers and cobra commander himself as 12 inch....so tempted to get them.... Editted: Opps, meant to say "not a total purist" This post has been edited by Sadistic Reaper: Nov 25 2009, 12:43 PM |

I am looking forward to see how they going to comment when SS comes out with Destro, expect complain on the pimp suit and gold chain instead of Resolute version, so much for "staying true to the vintage".This post has been edited by Fatimus: Nov 25 2009, 12:31 PM |

erald06: Are you sure? Where did it get stuck? Got an image to show? Mine doesn't get stuck though. I think it depends on the figs' quality. Sometimes, i get loose joints

my katana doesn't fully goes in complete. it is like the sheath is shorter or prolly because the end of the covered sheath limits the katana to reach to the end. still can see the end of the katana before the handle abit.

i've checked all 4 of my PP SE's katanas and sheathes..and the katanas do not slide in fully ,leaving a gap..both the katana and it's sheathe are of the same length ,measuring from the hilt of the blade to the end.
see pics below. ![]() ![]() Added on November 25, 2009, 5:04 pm QUOTE(ashnic @ Nov 25 2009, 04:58 PM) Sadistic Reaper already posted FF's pics on this page.scroll up to view them.the camo design is nice.good thing FF doesnt come with his vintage backpack. This post has been edited by darkshadow: Nov 25 2009, 05:04 PM |
