What the different between Gold Digger and Silver Fox by Vilain in term of hold? Should i go for Silver Fox to get more shine look?
*
i never use either both but i did read some reviews mentioning silver fox is extremely stronger than Gold Digger. its recommended that silver fox is to be used by people who have either medium or thick hair. well recommendation does not mean squat if u dont mind buying it since u like it. brows.gif

Thanks for the reply. Already place order for silver fox. Actually wanna try hanz de fuko claymation, but all place out of stock. So gonna try silver fox first, see what this fox can do to my thick hair.

Hi, i have kinda dry hair or rather my hair dries up rather quickly. When i use products like hair cream or wax or clay-like after towel drying my hair, it tends to dry quickly. Just wondering if anyone has the same issue and what products they use?

p/s: when i use gel, its okay but my hair have a wet look. prefer not to have the wet look.

Thanks.

i got that feeling when i use suavectio waterbased pomade. i dont have any problem with shiner gold, shiner gold psycho and newly bought layrite waterbased pomade.

maybe its due to the product itself, so my guess are based on that or to what some people say u put the wax too much it feels dry (this is a maybe... so dont shoot the messenger!)

anyways, recently bought layrite super hold. some reviews about it.

Pros:

-nice smell
reminded me of the vanilla candle scent.

-holds great
i can style the way i wanted to without much work

- easy to use.
take a bit of the wax (they did mention its a waterbased wax so lets go with it) put it on the palm on ur hand and spread it evenly and give a good rub to ur hair and style it and ure done!

-easy to wash out
no need to use shampoo just wash the hair when ure showering and it'll comes off. wont feel dry at all.

Cons:

-expensive
my only gripe about this product is its quite expensive from other waterbased pomade i have bought. then again since ringgit drop down like an anchor last time i guess it could not be help.

salons n salon supply shops like K Care n Shins. the general rule is not to buy them at full retail price. because there is always a shop nearby that sells the same product at a discount.

Been using shiner gold psycho hold for a week now. Myhair is thick and wavy and i apply this pomade on dry hair. Once applied my hair gets really nice straight and i can style it however i want. But, once its get longer my hair curls back to its original form which i dont like. Is there any pomade which can make my hair straight for the whole day? im not really convinced by the shiner gold's hold.

Would u willing to try grease thne sir? The only main problem is grease is kinnda hard to wash (well it is pertoleum based) however it'll keep the hair not so wavy. Most watedbase will curled back once its harden or for some kind of period.
Ive tried layrite superhold and it hold my hair quite well then after some odd hours it'll start wavy again. Hahaha. I guess i need to live with it or in any case if i really want a product to hold my hair well i'll choose a petroleum based. Still it'll be wavy but the good thing is u can always restyle it. As for waterbased such as shiner gold u need to apply a tiny bit of water and start restyling back.
