LOL I think he was referring to the feel of the surfaces, not the type of the pad/mat.
Anyway, the Goliathus Control's surface is a lot more coarse compared to the control side of the eXactMat.
For me i get a lot more feel with the eXactMat. The Goliathus Control gives too much resistance, which is a no no for me.
Plus high sensitivity Laser mice just don't work on a Goliathus Control. At least not well.

My Goliathus just isn't quite performing the way it used to be. Feels way too draggy compared to last time. I'll probably give it a good wipedown soon. Considering getting the Destructor when I get back to Malaysia.
Btw, anyone used the Mamba for a while yet? What's the verdict? Is the shape exactly the same as the DA with the exception of the two small buttons at the edge of the left click?

carcharias is a ear covering headset while pirahna was a ear pressuring earset.. So carcharias is always better since it privide 5.1 surround sound.

Carcharias is a 2.1 headphones. Barracuda full 5.1. Upcoming Megalodon is simulated 7.1 (with a sound engine).

So carcharias is always better since it privide 5.1 surround sound. the proper term is... Circumaural headphones - sits AROUND the ear... Supraaural headphones - sits ON the ear.... and for headphones its better to stick to stereo....5.1 headphones are just a gimmick....abominations...the drivers are way too small and sit way too close to each other that the sounds get jumbled up...messes with the soundstage and sound positioning... check this out...from HERE @ SLIZone forums... quoted from a normal user...not a headphile..a headphile would probably be cursing like hell already.... QUOTE I had some 5.1 Razer Barracuda's for a while they were good for a few months but like a few people said the 5.1 is really a gimmic I found out. They cost me 150$ and they were not worth the money. I just bought a pair of Skullcandy ComIT headphones and they are stereo only 2 channels. They plug directly into my XiFi Audio card.
These headphones sound incredible. I will admit the high's need some work but other then that I love them Half the price of the barracudas. They feel much more well built and theu sund so much better. The barracudas were very tinny with really crappy lows. The ComIT's are nice clear heavy bass. and Skullcandy headphones have a reputation of looking cool but suck in sound with way too much bass that drowns out the rest....and thats muddy bass too...

Well, if you really place importance on sound quality, then a set of Sennheisers or Bose or a similar brand will do much better than a "gaming" headset. I had a Barracuda of my own, and I admit the difference in sound quality. However, for the sake of directional sound, the Barracudas are still better. The actual 5.1 drivers in the headset beats any algorithm, at least the ones I've tested. QUOTE(azrinarizz @ Jun 10 2009, 10:36 PM) I like your siggy
