Supraaural headphones - sits ON the ear....
and for headphones its better to stick to stereo....5.1 headphones are just a gimmick....abominations...the drivers are way too small and sit way too close to each other that the sounds get jumbled up...messes with the soundstage and sound positioning...

I had some 5.1 Razer Barracuda's for a while they were good for a few months but like a few people said the 5.1 is really a gimmic I found out. They cost me 150$ and they were not worth the money. I just bought a pair of Skullcandy ComIT headphones and they are stereo only 2 channels. They plug directly into my XiFi Audio card.
These headphones sound incredible. I will admit the high's need some work but other then that I love them Half the price of the barracudas. They feel much more well built and theu sund so much better. The barracudas were very tinny with really crappy lows. The ComIT's are nice clear heavy bass.
