Huh? Mamba needs driver to on its light? Mayb the driver can change the color of light...

Guys sometimes my razer lycosa cannot detect some of the word i type, it happens randomly and every now and then. I have to unplugged the USB port and replugged it in to work. Any idea what is wrong?

I guess only, will only find out once i got the software.
I guess so, coz the razer official website shows it has lights on its sides and the software can turn on and off the light

Driver has to download urself. They didn't provide any driver in the packaging.

There is no Cd in the box. Need to downlaod from their website. I'll only download it tonight.

Yes, i wonder why their don't put in the CD.

I think only the scroll wheel is lighten up after reading the guide. The software allow you to turn on or off on
1) scroll wheel light
2) battery indicator
3) charging dock light

thats the DB acid green la.
CH doesnt light up like that, and DB 3G got no bling bling on top

anyway, hows the mamba so far?
im not getting it cos im gonna wait and see if a new 3.5G optical mouse will come out or not

Added on May 18, 2009, 9:36 ami think thats cos when the mouse in box has a new firmware, but the cds are all already printed one big batch with the original v1 drivers...
so some smart ppl still go install the old drivers from cd without checking what the latest driver is.

Yes, it is a my lycosa mirror, diamondback and mamba.

Still don't have chance to use the mamba yet. Will try it out tonight. What make me worry is, do i need to uninstall the DB driver and software before i install the mamba's software?

By the way, what is this 3G and 3.5G kind of thing huh?

apparently the mouses work no prob with 2 diff drivers in it.
i think someone has tried with DA and CH drivers or something on the same PC.

like the older DB is 2G optical sensor, thats why got DB 3G.
the lachesis is 3G laser, tho i dunno why mamba is called 3.5G and not 4G.

driver and firmware is different.
you need the latest driver before updating firmware.
but if the mouse is working fine, then dont bother updating anything.

more fancy stuff like higher dpi
