Shoes are not waterproof, more to water repellent to me as if water enter through the top it still wets.

It depends you would love to get the guide from the Management from Mulu or stand alone guides which is nearby the resort. Approx 10-15 minutes drive from the airport.

You will required certain stamina on this although accomodation still being pampered like those in Kinabalu for Pinnacles or I refer that mountain as Gunung Api.

Gunung Mulu is a tougher mountain to hike and no hotel facility there with minimum 4 days 3 nights camp in huts but even with the hut - it is seriously cold during the night.

Just want to ensure no one confuse Gunung Mulu as Pinnacles here.

As for the caves, which caves are you referring to as there are many caves in Mulu National Park. If the Bat Caves, you could ownself walk on the plank trail by yourself. If you are referring to the biggest cave nearby entry point to Gunung Mulu, you might required a guide as the jungle route is always the tricky part.

Are you referring to island beaches? Camping in beaches is okay but if you are alone there I will suggest you to have more people along. Afraid being robbed.

Kinabalu can fall to death? Just weird. The weirdest was Suku incident. I believe that hiker might be rushing down from the peak to base as it is all the way downhill descend and will take about 1.5 - 2 hours.

Even if I give you the coordinate for Extreme entrance, you still not able to find the route as there are few trunk roads along the way, few descend, then ascend before descend again (the deep hole) before reaching up to a flat terrain near Extreme.

Okay Saturday should be fine. I will be bring a friend of mine together.

I am not sure anyone went to Tabur Extreme lately and I suspect the trail might be overgrown. Preferable to wear long pants if you are not comfortable with mosquito and possible caterpillars.

I also cannot really remember where's the trail but once I am there maybe I will have a clearer picture. LOL!
